Fantastic restaurant with a thoughtful, creative, seasonal menu. I’m a vegetarian and it is one of the few restaurants in Springfield where I can eat multiple courses. My uncle is a traditional steak and potato kinda guy and he loves this place, too. Desserts are always really good. The atmosphere is lovely. It makes for a great evening of delicious food and relaxed conversation.

My husband and I live in Columbus and are now looking for reasons to dine here. We will schedule our trip around driving thru Springfield. Springfield doesn’t offer much, but you really have to stop here. Thanks to the owner for offering this.

Many visits. I have been here many times. Always good service. Always good food. Sometimes the kitchen can be slow. This last trip I had the Vietnamese phở. I was disappointed it was so bland. I get to many restaurants that do a much better job even if not Viet. I have to say to whole experience is not always what I’m looking for. I am not wowed anymore. Sorry.

I had a salmon burger there for the first time in my life. Great first experience. I have only been there for lunch, but it is always excellent.

Sweet little local spot we found after the Springfield Extravaganza in the little downtown. The staff was nice and the food was home made style. Clearly, this is a place tons of local people come to lunch. We got there early, and good thing, because after noon, it was pretty hopping! I’d go again.

Tried yesterday. Came back today. Just had a simple Turkey Sandwich. But it was the Kale and Andouille sausage soup that was the showstopper. Perfectly seasoned tender Kale and Potatoes in a flavorful broth. Yes in Springfield Ohio you can get a eclectic menu with quality ingredients. I will be back.

Too fancy and expensive for my taste. They serve an elite crowd in Springield. Have eaten here three times, and been to community events here. I am just looking for burger and fries. They had buffalo burgers.

Great flavors! I trust them! I had the Capris Chicken. I enjoyed it! As an appetizer I had the melted cheese with pesto– wonderful. Great service, and friendly waitress. My husband loved the coffee. They do have a short menu but they have about 3 – 4 specials new daily in addition. Come, eat friends!

Great atmosphere, very good food, I had duck and caesar salad which was excellent. Very solid and popular place. This exceeded my expectations by a great deal for Springfield.

The best eatery in Springfield! The food is great, and there is always something appealing in their daily specials. The winter salad with the white chocolate vinaigrette was sublime, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten here. I love the concept of a seasonal menu, and everything I’ve had has always been amazing. I love that they source many of their ingredients from local farms and dairies. Great place, especially in a city so overrun with fast food chains. A good place to take a date if you’re looking to impress.

This is an acceptable eatery in Springfield. It has an inviting atmosphere and casual, relaxed feel. Our server, Nicole, was very personable and was knowledgeable about the menu, which changes seasonably. However, we found it a bit limited. If it wasn’t for the specials, my husband would have had to settle on a dish that he was less than thrilled about ordering. Their wine menu is also limited and what they do have listed does not include year or country/region of origin. We are not experts on wine but have a decent knowledge so we had to ask our server to check several bottles before we made our final choice. What we did eat was very good. I started with the tomato bisque and my husband had a salad. For our entrees, I had the cheese blintz with ratatouille and my husband had a the featured pasta special with olives and feta. We were both pleased with our choices. We finished with coffee and the flourless chocolate cake lightly sprinkled with sea salt. An interesting combination that worked very well. We would probably come back here but would check the menu first.

Cute place. Expectations were moderate to high. The service was good at first, when I was one of only a couple of people here. Very small menu, played it safe(I thought) and went with the burger. I was wrong lol The burger was mealy and had zero flavor other than the mayo and salt I put on it. Once others came in, the service quality dropped off significantly. Luckily I’m just stopping in on my way to somewhere else because I don’t think I’ll be coming here again.

Haven’t been here in a year and it’s just as amazing as I remember from last year. Had a house salad, shrimp quesadilla and a Sergeant Pepper Martini. All amazing and complex, yet simple!

I felt like I was ALMOST in a bigger city. The food isn’t typical which is a wonderful change from all the chain and fast food options in Springfield. Ambiance is wonderdul and service was friendly. Food was delicious and ignited my tastebuds with fun and different flavors. Price can be steep.

This is my favorite restaurant to visit when in Springfield. The food is always expertly prepared and the staff is great. I always try the specials and I’ve never been disappointed. Good wine and craft beer list.

We ate here once last year and it was fine. But last night was a disappointment from the outset. A group of 10 college kids were seated at the large table in the back, and the hostess took us past two empty tables to seat us next to them. The din was enough to make conversation for the three of us difficult. It took an inordinate time for drinks, then we ordered dinner. No bread or anything to nosh on. Looked at my watch, and we had gone 30 minutes from the time we walked in… And still nothing to eat. Finally appetizers. Pork belly with a maple syrup sauce was above average. Later the salads came along with bread(where were you when we needed you?), and the Autumn salad with blue cheese and pear was good, though the dressing was weak. One of our group was then told– halfway through salad– they were out of her risotto(little late to be finding this out), and they would delay our dinner until they could«catch up» with her second choice. So after a long wait, two entrees, including the second choice arrived. But not mine– shrimp & grits– probably the quickest of the entrees to make! Despite my insistence, the others refused to start in until mine arrived. 4 – 5 minutes later. Shrimp and grits is a great dish, but this was a bit watery and wouldn’t be confused with one served in a good Charleston establishment. Squash lasagna was pretty good. And around the middle of the entrees, the college crowd filed out so we could hear ourselves talk. Other than a couple of good flavors of Jeni’s ice cream, none of the desserts seemed exceptional enough to order. Everyone seemed ready to leave. Food is still exceptional in spots, just okay in others, and service was mediocre. Smart looking décor, but the usual tinny acoustics to make it sound more lively become problematic when a boisterous group dominates the back half of the room. This really is a fine restaurant, and an oasis in downtown Springfield. But this night, they weren’t all that.

Many great reasons to recommend Seasons when you’re in Springfield: — Locally owned — Always the freshest ingredients including local farmers market produce — Attentive and well trained staff — Seasonal menu that always features 3 – 4 excellent entrees — Skilled bartenders and nice wine list

Overall had a good experience here, but I left having expected more. The service was great, but the atmosphere and food were just above average. I expected a more dimly lit dinner area rather than the bright surroundings we found. I also expected all the food to seem fresher. We had Tuna tostadas to start and the were good, but only included 3 one inch tostadas, so be warned it’s literally 3 bites. We shared a personal pizza and the beef tacos. The pizza was about a 10″ margarita with large slices of tomato and plenty of fresh mozzarella. The crust seemed pre made and was just meh, nothing special but overall good. The tacos were good and seemed like all the ingredients were fresh. Dinner was served quickly, we were seated, ordered, served and ate in about an hour. Overall a good experience but nothing to get too excited about.

Seasons Bistro seemed to be touted on the app so I decided to stop by for lunch. I was promptly greeted by a very friendly gent behind the bar and given a seat quickly. It seemed to have a pretty nice lunch crowd. I decided to start off with the soup of the day, Mulligatawny. It was very heavy on curry but I enjoyed it a lot. It was very flavorful but not spicy, which I would have appreciated. For my lunch entrée I ordered the braised beef tacos. It came with two tacos with tomatillo and a black bean salsa on the side. The beef was a bit dry but the accompaniments made up for it. I would definitely come back to Seasons. Next time I’m going to run with the Bison Burger.
