Shell Gas

A couple weeks ago I stopped at the Shell station at 400 Baltimore Pike, Springfield, PA 19 064. I wanted to use the vacuum there for my car and possibly get a car wash. I put money in the vacuum and nothing happened. I went to inform the attendant inside the store who already knew the vacuums were not working (there’s 3 or 4 of them). There was no sign anywhere stating such, even though they already knew the vacuum’s were out of order. When I asked for my money back, I was told that they don’t run the car wash and vacuum’s (even though they were both Shell and in the same lot).
I wonder how many people have put money into these machines and have lost out. It seems like a good scam to me and I wonder how much of people’s hard earned money they steal every day. I drive by almost everyday and it still looks like the machines aren’t working (though I can’t be sure unless I put in another $ 2.00.
