I was in DC for work, but I was staying with some good friends in Springfield, VA. The day after I got there, I realized I was going to need to get 300 flyers printed up for an event, and I had one day to do it. After spending the morning getting all of the details just right on the flyer, I sent it over to FedEx/Kinko’s to have them print it. I stopped by to see the proof, and it was just TERRIBLE. By this point, it was already 3:30/4 pm. I waited around at FedEx/Kinko’s to see if they could fix things and make it print nicer(none of the color blends were printing as blends). Thankfully, I was able to pull out my iPhone and discover Sir Speedy! I gave them a call, had FedEx/Kinko’s toss my file on a disk, and headed over. They printed it up for me and did the cuts all within an hour, and it looked FABULOUS. And the finished job was much cheaper than it would have been with FedExx/Kinko’s. Thanks, Sir Speedy! You really are speedy! Don’t know what I would have done without you guys.

i’ve not had a horrid experience at kinko’s but i’ve never had a stellar one either. the dude from sir speedy and i joked on the lax customer service there, comparing it to a night club in nyc. you walk in, one of the fifty employees working behind the counter looks up at you and looks down and ignores you. leaving you to wonder if you wore the right kicks with your outfit. but at sir speedy, the dude was totally chill, even gave me a cd to burn my book onto b/c my travel drive said the file was too big. stupid travel drive. the book cost 26 bucks to print, almost 2/3rds less than at kinko’s, plus he used a higher stock of paper AND he used a coil bind instead of the crappy plastic comb. two thumbs up!!!
