Fast, friendly, and most important — DELICIOUS! You can also pick up beer here too making it the best place for one stop shopping. Great food selection, you won’t be disappointed.

Have been going here for years and have been very satisfied, that has changed recently. Twice in the last 6 months The potato salad has been much lower quality. I spoke to the owner and told her that the potatoes seemed to be over cooked but she said it was cooked the same all the time but sometimes depending on where they come from the potatoes may have frozen on the truck and they have no control when that happens. When they charge a premium price that is not acceptable. Sorry to say that I will no longer take a chance on this potato salad not when they can’t control the quality but still charge a premium price($ 5+ per pound) ’

this place is gross! old, dirty and if your idea of great potato salad is lots of mayo –this is it. Coleslaw was so full of mayo that I threw it out.

Sandwiches are very good and the potato salad(which they are known for). Maybe, a little bacon in the potato salad and they will get 5 stars. I gave them 4 Stars because some of the staff is slow. If you get the woman that runs the place she is quick and it is somewhat reasonable.

Always a place to get potato salad for a party, it’s really good. You can call days ahead to place order for parties. Excellent tuna hoagies and sandwiches. Has a few booths to sit and eat. Has a few shelves of everyday needs like soup, etc. left over from when it was more of a corner store. Serves beer. Parking along side and out back.

Everything here is made with quality ingredients, promptly, and courteously. The pricing is more than fair and the selection is ample. The potato salad is no joke, the BEST I have ever had. In fact, I am not a potato salad person, generally speaking, but I crave Sleepy Hollow potato salad!

The potato salad and the sandwiches are great. The roast beef special sandwich is very good. I have not been disappointed with anything I have had.

I celebrate their potato salad. I challenge you to find a better potato salad in the United States of America. The secret? Have gingers peel potatoes in the back room. That’s it.

My husband and I are new to Delco, but so far we love Sleepy Hollow Delly! They have great hoagies(We have tried several), wraps, and specials. We have never been disappointed with anything we have ordered. Family members have also stopped here on the way to visit us, and have enjoyed their food. They sell six packs for carry out, which is harder to find in PA. This is a great local deli with friendly staff!

This place never let me down, was a 4 star. It seems over the last few years they have been on a steady decline in my opinion… amongst others. Customer service is now mediocre at best and value seems to be disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, taste is always great, I just feel that I can get a lot more for my money. If I’m paying almost $ 8 for a sandwich, I expect it to be a good size, not something that I would have to eat 2 of(and I’m not a big guy).Hence my pictures of my grilled Reuben wrap… total let down. Hope they improve because they were always a «go to» place.

I’m up and can’t sleep because I’m craving their potato salad. Generally I don’t even like potato salad like that but Sleepy Hollow’s is like crack. I want. I want. I need.

A review that focuses on potato salad? Yup… That’s what I’m finna do…(Gonna, for those not up on southern lingo). I’m always on a search for a great hoagie, and this place made its way onto my list of places to try. I ordered an Italian hoagie with oil, vinegar, and hot peppers on the side. The hoagie was good and would satisfy anyone. The LTO is just as important as the meat that goes on it, and it was as fresh as you’d expect. Now on to the potato salad. I usually pass on anyplace touting the«Word Famous» anything… I found myself ordering the potato salad anyway while waiting on my sandwich. I wound up enjoying this more than what I originally came in for. It was simple, yet flavorful. Tasted like there was a little sour cream in it along with celery seed. I have left plenty of potato salad on plates because of how horrible It was. I don’t know about the world’s best claim. But this place can definitely tell people that they won’t find any better, anywhere near by…

One of these days I had to try this place. I love these kind of places. They remind me of the old Trio’s Cold Cuts in Clifton Heights that my family frequented religiously when I was a kid. Opportunity presented itself this past weekend. I judge a lot of deli places based on how well they make a basic sandwich. My benchmark is the good ol Turkey Special with rye bread, Russian dressing, and cole slaw. I tried this with a side of the famous potato salad and an ice cold beer. Now, they use the deli sliced turkey for this sandwich, not sliced turkey from the bone. I suppose I can’t hold this against a local place like this. It’s not like they can roast turkeys every day. But the bread was soft, the cole slaw was fresh, and I polished it off. But here’s where they won the 4th star. That potato salad… It’s legit! In an area like Delco where everyone’s grandmother has a potato salad recipe, you have to be strong when you claim to be a potato salad master. It was a fine lunch.

I’m new in town & this is quickly becoming one of my favorote delis in the area. I can’t vouch for anything other than the Italian grinder & potato salad. There is a small lot behind w/about 4 spaces and some people park on the side. The potato salad really is that good. Most people order out but I usually dine in & they will bring your food to the booth for you. You’ll probably pay about $ 1 more per hoagie than you would somewhere else but I’ve never felt bad about it.

Love this place. Just moved into the area and this place is probably my favorite sandwich spot in town. The Italian grinder is awesome. The potato salad is also really, really good as well. I would like to see the place a little cleaner though. Floors look like they need to be mopped and there’s been a few times we go in and the trash is overflowing. Other than that the place is great. Give it a try!

Solid 4 stars… nice part of Springfield/good location/easy to find, AWESOME potato salad, decent menu otherwise, friendly staff. Potato salad-albeit expensive at 4.99 a pound — definitely tasted like my grandmom made it, and just really good. Bought the 5 pounder — perfect to bring to a picnic or luncheon. Solid 4 stars; although the menu did seem a bit overpriced for what it was(beyond the potato salad, which is in a category of its own for me!). Broccoli bites and other similar frozen then fried US Foods/Sysco appetizers averaged 5.99 plus-waaaaay overpriced, IMO. I’ll pay for quality, homemade, Grandma-style potato salad at 4.99 a lb., but 5.99 is just too much for frozen, fried crap. Give Sleepy Hollow a try-the potato salad is a MUSTORDER!

Ok, I went there and got an Italian hoagie the 12′ and I have to say it was very good. Very tasty and yes as previous Unilocalers stated the potato salad is awesome… I have lived in this area and pass this store year after year, this is a cute place inside. They have some tables inside and outside. I will definitely go back and try something else.

I always drive by, today I decided to stop in. Typical deli with an assortment of hot and cold sandwiches. They serve breakfast all day. Countertop seating with 4 booths. Take out Beer available. My lunch was very satisfying, will definitely be back again. Like other reviewers said, my wife agrees the potato salad is very good!

Best potato salad on the planet!!! I don’t know what the secret is but this potato salad is to die for! Hardy sandwiches, great service! They have a grill so you can get a cheese steak or hamburger. Beer for take-out but it’s a little more $$ than other take-out places or bars. Delivery for lunch only. They close at 8 on weeknights, 9 on weekends. Highly recommend!
