I’m on a quest to check out all the Asian restaurants with gluten free offerings. This one was ok. They told me they could make about anything gluten free, but the choices were still pretty slim. It was ok, but I’m not sure I would go back. My daughter and hub said theirs was good but not great. So — average. However — good service, nice server and very clean restaurant with pleasant atmosphere.

This is my all-time favorite restaurant. I was first introduced to Tasia probably 8 years ago. My brother was going to school at MSU, and we thought we would give it a try. That was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. I ended up going to Missouri State myself in 2011, and I made a habit of going to Tasia whenever I could. Now that I’ve graduated, I have to rely on my younger sister(who is now going to MSU) to bring me Tasia home. Our entire family loves Tasia, and we all get the same thing when we go. The Chinese fried rice, and the Thai Fried rice. If you have kids, the Chinese fried rice is a wonderful choice. It’s not spicy at all, and it’s delicious. It was my favorite until I tried the Thai fried rice once. The Thai fried rice is spicy, and you can choose to make it even spicier if you’d like. I also get the dragon roll. It’s fried sushi, and it is AMAZING. If you go during the lunch hours, you also get a cup of soup(choice of egg drop, miso, and a spicy one). I can’t say that I’ve had a variety of foods here, but what I have tried is excellent!

Service was superior. Sushi was really good. The prices were reasonable and the pad Thai was worth coming back for as well as the bulgogi! Yum!

Love the FireCracker Chicken. The food has always been really good; actually never disappoints. And the wait staff is kind and friendly. Highly recommended.

Never get a call in order… they will tell you everything is there but when you get home half your order will not be there or made correctly and when you call them about the issue they will say no problem there will make it right. They you waste all you time driving back you them to say sorry you should have checked the order before leaving and you still leave without getting what you paid way overpriced for… shame on you tashi your Manger Steven doesn’t understand customer service. We will not ever eat they again and we will tell everyone we know never to go to your restaurant. …

I live near here but had never tried it until a couple days ago. They have a large menu with different types of Asian food(Vietnamese or Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean). I ordered the chicken guway teow(pronounced gway tow). It’s a wide noodle dish with broccoli, carrots, snap peas and onions. You can order the noodle dishes with any meat. Anyway, it was great! It was a subtle sweet garlic sauce and I really liked it a lot! The noodles seemed overcooked to me, very soft, but I didn’t mind because it still tasted good! The portion was pretty big! On the menu, they had rice dishes, noodle dishes, typical items like cashew or orange chicken, sushi, and appetizers like spring rolls and crab rangoons. Big variety on the menu! The atmosphere was bright and light and colorful, not a traditional Asian restaurant in that sense, but I thought it was cute. And the service was outstanding! If you get the chance for Gabe to serve you, you’re a lucky duck! He’s a great server. I will definitely come back, maybe this week!

Thai fried rice spicy and hot sour soup. Best in town. Tip girls for carry out they don’t make much. Ask for home made hot mustard it will light u up. Pretty darn good. Most of the time!!!

Tasia is that place that you can go to all the time, and it’s always going to be great. Very clean restaurant, friendly staff, and the food NEVER disappoints. I’m here every week. If it’s your first time, here are my three favorites to try: Hot & Sour Rice Bowl with Chicken, Pad Thai, and Chili Udon. That Hot & Sour rice bowl/soup is great on cold days. And hot days. And every other day!

We started with hot and sour soup and Crab Rangoon. Both were quite good. It was all downhill from there. My wife ordered the Firecracker Chicken, which tasted exactly like sweet and sour chicken. The sauce was very runny and not at all spicy. I ordered the Pad Thai. It was horrible. The sauce was, again, very runny and it was an absolute abomination. I understand that this is an Asian fusion place, but please… don’t put something on your menu if you have absolutely no idea how to make it. They get 3 stars from me because the apps were good and the service was extremely friendly and helpful.

Had a bad experience a couple years ago with a waitress but have been back several times since because they have really good food. Nice quiet atmosphere and convenient location.

How does this place get good reviews I don’t know. Bland bland bland all the 7 dishes I ordered from here. Thai, cashew, egg drop and even noodles all bland. Have I said enough

Ah Tasia. When you want the best bowl of Hot and Sour soup in the Springfield area, it’s Tasia. The broth is a smooth clear flavorful bowl of stock, with veggies that bring a subtle exchange of taste for the touch of heat at the end. The Chinese is clean, crisp, and delicious. Not one bad item on the menu. Their heat is a little on the weak side, just ask for extra extra spicy if you like it warm. The atmosphere is welcoming and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. But seriously, when I’m sick, Tasia Hot and Sour soup, when I’m cold, Tasia’s Hot and Sour soup. Or if I’m just plain hungry… You understand. You will not be disappointed.

Good food and fair prices. They have a pretty good kids menu as well which is different than most nice Asian places. Casual atmosphere and good service.

Our experience was really good! Loved the red curry chicken. The side of low mein was great for a kids meal and only $ 2! Nice clean atmosphere and really friendly fast service. Look forward to coming back!

I dragged my boyfriend here on an early evening date last night instead of one of our usual Chinese haunts. Fun fact — I’m actually typing this as I enjoy my Tasia leftovers. We came to Tasia around 4:30 and were immediately seated, because… Y’know, it was 4:30. Our waitress was super nice and super prompt, even when the restaurant began to fill with families. My boyfriend and I laughed about the loud Kenny G music playing, but overall the contemporary aesthetic was actually pretty nice. Tasia was naturally lit but dim(due to some huge windows covered with pretty blinds), decorated for the holidays, squeaky clean, and painted warm colors. It wasn’t the sterile white-and-red of most Chinese-whatever places, thankfully, and masses of stereotypical bamboo was also mostly absent. The menu is a range of pretty obligatory«Asian» fare — from basic sushi to basic Chinese-American dishes — so I wouldn’t visit if you’re looking for truly representative dishes. Don’t get excited about the sushi, either. However, what we did order was cleaner and lighter than you’ll find at Tasia’s lesser restaurant brethren. I ordered miso soup and vegetable lo mein and both were as good as any I’ve ever had. The lo mien sauce was lighter and less oily than I’m used to(this is a good thing), the veggies SUPER fresh and crisp, and the portion so big that I ate half of it just now. For about $ 4 a portion, it’s not a bad deal. I paid $ 10 for the miso and lo mein without tip. It’s not a super exciting or unusual place, but Tasia does a really good job of mastering what Americans seem to think Japanese and Chinese food is. It’s basic, but quality.

Probably the cleanest restaurant in springfield. Great service and food. Always tastes very fresh, and the bowls seem pretty healthy.

I live in chicago, and i’ve tried many other Asian fusion restaurants both in Chicago & Springfield. I can confidently say Tasia’s Tom yum soup is the best one i’ve ever had so far… I pretty much tried all of their dishes on the menu, i was always satisfied with thier quality of food, great service and reasonable price… They do not use MSG in their food, which makes the food more fresh and enjoyable… I bring my 18months old nephew here on a regular basis, because i can trust thier food and i have no problem feeding my nephew this freshly prepared food :) One of my favorite dish is Spicy Garlic Shrimp with ginger dressing for my salad on the side… one of the main reason why i love Tasia is because almost all dishes are interchangeable with any meat, sauce or vegie you like. You can get Spicy garlic shrimp with chicken or Tilapia, instead of shrimp… My sister loves thier Tasia roll and pad thai :)) When she was pregnant, all she wanted was their Tasia roll. Everytime i visit Tasia, the owners always greet customers, which makes me feel like they do care alot about their customers. i will come back soon Tasia! Keep up the good work! And thank you for serving such great quality of food to people in Springfield: D I wish there was Tasia #2 in Chicago, so i won’t have to fly everytime i crave for Tasia ;)

These fusion places are great for solving the You-Can’t-Please-Everyone problem of picking a restaurant. Having Thai, Chinese, and Korean flavors on their menu; all with the standard midwestern adaptations. I’ve been here a few times, and always have enjoyed the food. The diverse and vegetarian friendly menu is a plus, and the option of making the food spicy is and huge plus. The prices are a little high for the food quality however, and the service I’ve received here has been mixed. I am a very easy person to wait on, but when I went with some less than easy friends, the limited abilities of their wait staff became more obvious to me. My friends were less than please with their food, wait time, and so my experience was tainted as well. This is not a bad choice at all, I would eat here again.

I love eating at Tasia, it’s a great atmosphere and has really attentive and friendly staff. Love how nearly all items on menu are interchangeable with any meat or vegetables, and how their meat is actually high quality unlike some other Asian restaurants in the area. Hot and Sour Soup is amazing. Doesn’t have the widest variety of sushi, but the rolls they have are delicious and very reasonably priced. Great place to eat!!!

This is my first review of a restaurant in Springfield. I’m choosing this one because I went there for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and remember it being a very good experience. Tasia does a lot of stuff very well. It’s a nice place, has a friendly, helpful staff, and its moderately priced. What they do very, very well is have a nice variety of higher-end Asian food, from Thai to sushi to Korean. My family and I had some sushi – the beef bulgogi roll was something we’d never seen before and we were very happy we ordered it, as it was fantastic, a mix of Japanese and Korean I haven’t seen(or noticed) before. I had pad thai – started with the basics – and it was above average, and there was a lot of it. Tasia isn’t reinventing Asian food but they made for an excellent dining experience, better than carry out in a white box for sure, and worth the trip to sit down and spend time there.
