I have a chronic condition documented by more than one specialist from a different insurance network. After switching insurance I attempted to set up a relationship with this doctor. Before even meeting me he requested that I have an expensive test(of which I have had three similar in the past four years) and ordered me to be put on medication. When I decided to wait until after I met with him to discuss my health plan he was upset that I didn’t take the medicine. When I told him I had taken similar medicine before and found I felt better when instead changing to a vegan diet he indicated that my new diet didn’t matter. He basically told me that he didn’t believe that I had my condition. I offered to request my records from my out of network provider to bring to him and he said he didn’t need them. Yeah… I suppose the other specialists I saw were all wrong. Maybe I should be mad at them for performing two surgeries on me for no reason.(end sarcasm) I would rather drive to St. Louis to see a doctor than see this one again.
