Tom’s 24 Hr Towing Service

I needed to have my car towed while in Springfield this past weekend. Tom’s was the business I opted to call, based on Unilocal reviews. Josh arrived within 30 minutes of my Saturday afternoon call and was extremely polite, kind, and helpful. He also listened to my car story and offered support and encouragement.
The next day, Sunday, I called Tom’s again to schedule a tow for Monday morning. I needed to get my car to a shop that worked on manual transmissions. Martha at Tom’s took my information over the phone and said the car would be picked up between 7:30am and 8:00am Monday morning and towed to the requested shop. A few minutes before 8:00am Monday morning, Martha called to let me know my car was being transported.
I’m grateful to Josh, Martha, and the crew at Tom’s for providing an invaluable service. Great work and thanks!

Car broke down on 55 north about an hour out of Decatur Il. Called my Daughter who lives in Decatur and she contacted Tom’s. They came quickly, took my car, me and my dog to Billingsley Car shop recommended by son-​in-​law. The guy Josh was very helpful and friendly. All in all they made a crummy experience as good as possible. Also they were very, very reasonable!!! If I ever need them again they would be the first I called.

The tow truck came quickly and the driver gave us suggestions as where to take the car to get it fixed. The charge was reasonable and the driver was pleasant to deal with. I hope I never have to be towed again in the Springfield area again but if I did, I’d call Tom’s Towing.
