Uncle Bob’s Self Storage

After avoiding being swindled by Public Storage (check out my review if you’re considering them) I took a look at Uncle Bob’s. No gimmicks, no lies, what they told me on the phone was exactly what I got.
Their facility is clean and easy to utilize. They have carts you can sign out and borrow which are in good working condition and made moving things from my car to my storage unit very easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The manager was having computer glitch problems attempting to give me a military discount but kept working it and calling (I’m guessing the main office) for help and eventually got it figured out. He was very personable and kept apologizing. Since he was trying very hard to save me some money I didn’t mind waiting.
The only thing that caught my eye (ear?) was the fact that people were calling in and coming in person to make late payments the entire time I was there. It seems their late fee is huge and they kept recommending people put themselves on monthly auto-​pay so they don’t accrue these fees. My stuff is only there for a few weeks so I’m not concerned about it, but if you are considering them for more than a month, maybe you should check out that auto-​pay option!

My boyfriend and I have stored our belongings at Uncle Bob’s on two separate occasions (our belongings are stored there right now) and are happy to report that the site is not only very clean, but that it’s also safe and that the employees are very nice, friendly, helpful and professional. We highly recommend this facility.
