Best food around. All local, homegrown and delicious. If your around this spot don’t miss your chance to eat at this great little place. You’ll love it. Try the steak and frites.

Awesome food. I love the Devils on Horseback. We have eaten at many fine dining restaurants in Nashville and New York. This is definitely a great restaurant and the best Springfield has to offer. It is priced well for the quality, service, and atmosphere.

I stumbled upon this spot a couple hours before they closed up for the evening. This is a food oasis for Springfield — which, on arrival, had me worried when I realized I was surrounded by Applebee’s and sonics. I had some amazing shrimp and grits and made-from-scratch coconut milk ice cream, I believe they source all their food locally — so you’re supporting local farmers as well. They have a strong take on the Moscow mule too. Staff was beyond awesome– genuine and helpful. Eat here.

So the two stars are for the concept. I appreciate what the owner is trying to do. Maybe we are spoiled by recent trips to awesome places in Nashville and California, but the food and service were subpar. I had high hopes for Whitney Lee’s but we were surely disappointed. The service was slow and very inattentive. She never even came to ask how our dinner was or how everything was going. The food was entirely overpriced for what was presented to us. I expect an expensive steak dish to really shine, and mine was chewy and bland. The lamb was also not flavorful and my boyfriend has cooked much superior lamb at home from meat bought at the Army commissary. Take the extra time to drive to Nashville.

Cozy and great food. Gluten free options like stuffed crab cakes. Steak was tender as butter and cooked perfect.

We loved everything! We went with a large group and all shared tastes of each other’s dishes. The appetizers, curated beers, the main courses, the desserts– all were fantastic. You must try this place out!

The food once again was amazing. I have been twice and have never been disappointed. We tell everyone about this place. The date night special on Tuesday is awesome. I especially loved their crème brûlée, and devils on horseback. It is also farm to table, so everything is fresh, it is not a chain, and even the owner came out and spoke with us. She was amazing.

Oh my gosh! This place is AMAZING! Literally from the moment you walk in you fall in love. It’s quaint and wonderful! We went to their date night(Tuesday nights) and it literally was some incredible food. Our waiter Kevin, just made it perfect. Whitney came out and talked to us and was just as sweet as pie. The food was outrageously fresh and flavored amazingly. I’m not from Nashville but I seriously can’t wait to come back to go again! TEN stars!

Food was amazing. I had the chicken mac dish and my fiancé had the fillet. The chicken was moist with a crispy coating and a flavor that was unforgettable and something I will definitely go back for. The filet was cooked perfectly and the sides were all delicious. The chef and staff were all incredibly helpful and nice. We look forward to out next visit!

Last night all 4 of our party had a wonderful dinner at Whitney Lee’s. The Devils on Horseback and Bruschetta appetizers we shared were excellent. We had high expectations for our entrees and they were met. The Salmon, Filet Mignon, Pistachio-Crusted Lamb and Andouille-Crusted Snapper were delicious… Our waiter was knowledge and friendly; it was a perfect evening!

I don’t right reviews much so this will be short. The best food for many miles. High end restaurant.

I ordered Whitney Lee’s Signature Mac’s Chicken which came with broccoli and macaroni and cheese. The chicken, which came wrapped in bacon, was bland and overcooked, despite the bacon and being stuffed with smoked cheddar macaroni with truffle oil. The broccoli was overcooked and the side of mac and cheese was also bland. I left most of the meal on the plate. I mentioned this to our server and they removed it from our bill. This is my second time here. I throughly enjoyed my meal the first time(I don’t remember what I ordered) so I hope this was just an off night.

Good ambiance, friendly staff, but a miss on the food. The dates were good. Salads were too small and drenched in dressing. I mean drenched, soaking in a pool of dressing. And they were supposed to be spinach salads but were romaine. The grits were not cooked well and were grainy. Sweet tea– sub par for the south. I hate to write bad reviews but I’d like to help the place improve.

The good: Our first experience here was a good one. We had the cheese tasting, «Devils on Horseback», rack of lamb, and the dry-aged ribeye, paired with the Bonterra Zinfandel; all of which was very good. Our server was friendly and attentive. This restaurant is a great addition to downtown Springfield. Needs improvement: The wine and beer list was short. There are many excellent craft breweries in and around Nashville that would make nice additions to the beer list. I think the bar itself should be expanded/lengthened a bit. Most of all, add some Kentucky bourbons to the list. As for Tennessee whiskeys, in addition to Jack Daniels, add George Dickel and Prichard’s. We look forward to our next visit.

We live in Springfield and are excited to have a true farm to table restaurant in Springfield. Whitney Lee was great and the service and food was fantastic. The appetizers all the way to desserts was great. Hope this place stays around for a long time. Have to try the truffle Mac and cheese.

My husband and I found this place through Unilocal. We went in for their brunch on Sunday. I had the Crab Cake Benedict and my husband had the Salmon Benedict. It was amazing. We also had the Pumpkin Truffle appetizer which was really good too. This place is small and quaint. It is a nice great quality restaurant on main. I highly recommend it! Don’t let the fancy wording on the menu scare you off. It’s well worth the time and money to eat there. We asked for recommendations on the menu and the server didn’t steer us wrong.

This is a relatively new restaurant to Springfield and as they state they are a farm to table establishment. While we did not order any of the local food offerings we did enjoy a dinner of shrimp and grits and the special of the day. Very good food, excellent service and a nice wine selection. Portions are a tad small for the price and that is the only thing that kept me from giving this a 5 star rating. We will be back.

Has a nice atmosphere and staff, but that was about it. I ordered the chicken breast and it was very tough and not a whole lot of flavor. My fiancé ordered the quarter chicken and had the same issue. Disappointed with the cost versus the quality of the food.

We went there twice during dinner and lunch. We got burger during lunch. Even though a server didn’t ask us how we want our burger cook, they came out perfectly juicy. However, the side order are a bit disappointing. The portions are really small. Fries are small and kinda soggy. The onion petal are tasty, I just wish there are more. I don’t usually finish my plate anywhere else, I felt that their portion are a tad too small. During dinner we went to a couple night on Friday. You get a bottle of wine, a share appetizer, 2 entrée and a share dessert. Even though each portion are quite small(except dessert), in the end it was a satisfying meal.
