Four of us had a fantastic meal here. Every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. We share 4 appetizers, the quail was the highlight, but the fresh steamer clams, crabcakes, and bacon wrapped scallops were equally delicious. Our entrees were Muscovy Duck, Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb, and Veal Saltombocca. Everyone had bites of each others dishes and agreed that everything was fantastic. Service was top notch. We don’t understand any of the negative review, unless they were snuck in by a jealous competing restaursunt. Do yourselves a favor and try Willies, you won’t be disappointed

Food was very good. Server attentive. Long wait for food. 1 hour wait on a Saturday at 6:00 pm. Will try again. Hopefully they will be better staffed.

I come into Willie’s from time to time. I love the food and the service. Katy is great and very profetional but also relaxed. But the true shining star of the resturaunt is Amber. She always has a smile on her face and is always happy to see me when I walk in. She really is perfect. I hope the owner and management understand the true gem that they have within their work crew. I know everyone has down days but every time I come in she is up beat and willing to give everything she’s got to support her customers, coworkers, and boss. I just want to say thank you to Amber for being so Amazing. Words truly can’t describe how great you are. I hope you see this. Keep the positivity going and keep killin it! :)

On a whim, my partner and I decided to try out Willie’s. We were kindly greeted and sat by Willie, who checked in with us throughout our evening. Our server Katy was very friendly and helpful in helping us choose our selections. The warmth and hospitality of Willie, Katy, and the rest of the staff is unparalleled here in Eugene! Oh, and the food is pretty darn good too.

I think this could be considered a hidden gem– it’s in a most surprising location and off the beaten path. I tried Baba Ghannouj for my first time and it was delicious! If you’re vegetarian they have plenty of appetizers to eat but, sadly, no vegetarian entrees. Service was great, a nice variety of local wines and beers, most dishes under $ 20, full bar and even a selection of ports to drink. Will go back.

DLW checked out this place on a Friday night because Middle Eastern cuisine is among our faves, and we hadn’t been to any such place in Eugene/Springfield except Albee’s. We experienced some good, some room for improvements. We split a couple of appetizers. Falafel was three large balls served with a yogurt dipping sauce, and fried cauliflower was pan-seared, not deep-fried or battered, served with the same sauce. Falafel were good, but the cauliflower was a big win. The carmelization on it was so tasty, and it didn’t get In the way of the natural flavor of the vegetable. We also split a lamb entrée. It was billed as rack of lamb, but it included just three chops, which were good but a shade past medium on the cook. The wine list was short and sweet, with half the options available by the glass. The atmosphere is nice, and the service was friendly and professional. Not a great value at over $ 30 per person including drinks. I can think of several other places I’d rather go for the money.

I’m surprised this place doesn’t have a higher rating… either they’ve made some changes or past reviewers were less then accurate. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Great food! So glad we came here and looking forward to my next trip to town to sample more of the menu. We started with the Lamb Baba and fried cauliflower… both very good and flavorful For entrees we had Kibbeh(good portion size), the Quail, the Filet(cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely) and the rack of lamb(also perfect and seasoned perfectly) the vegetables were crisp and tasty, the mashed potatoes were delicious. We ended the meal with baklava(each order includes a pistachio and a walnut) also soles the crème brûlée All in all a great meal a great variety and good company.

Never again! I got takeout so I didn’t expect over much, I just wanted edible. Flavorless, dry, and even the Baklava taste like sawdust. I was so disappointed in this restaurant. I just moved to the area and was hoping for a nice Lebanese restaurant near by, no such luck. I would rather drive forty minutes north to Corvallis and eat at Crystals. This place was rock bottom!

Ambiance was decent, place was already set up from the previous tenant so not much new there. With Middle Eastern accents in décor and some pictures, the restaurant is what you would expect of new building construction. I was a little dismayed in the fact that at noon on a Wednesday only three booths had people and the other 12 tables were empty. I have never had Lebanese food, so this was a first for me, and by default the best I have ever had! Here for lunch, the menu was brief which was nice, but heavily dominated by all things American. Took me back just a little. In looking at what was more authentic, unless you know what you are ordering, the menu does not clarify that there is a meat involved especially lamb which I am a fan of. I ordered a bowl of Tomato bisque soup, which I did enjoy, however not something that would be set apart from other restaurants in the area. I don’t want to debate which is better, a thin broth bisque or a chunkier style, but flavor was appropriate and for me just right. I got the lamb kabob which I assumed would be in kabob form. It was, however the lamb was in a ground form not actual pieces of meat. Again nothing to compare it to. For me I would have appreciated a larger portion of meat, but this is a personal preference of mine. Flavors for me were mild, nothing spicy, nothing garlic ravaged or anything of the sort. I believe I read another review about not having a WOW factor. And they are right. Although decent enough food, I too would like to see a WOW factor, something to set it apart from all the others choices. Not being in town on a regular basis at night, not sure if I will be able to try this place for a dinner and hopefully explore more of the Lebanese food. Therefore I am on the fence here. Nothing bad to report, but nothing glowing either. Will have to seek out another Lebanese food joint to have a comparison to at some point. Willing to be enlightened!
