An old school porn store, yes I said it Porn Store, not a Adult Boutique or Adult Books and Novelties, this is an honest to God smut shop. In a time when sexually oriented businesses have cleaned up their image for mainstream soccer mom acceptance, the X-​Spot is firmly rooted back in the days reminiscent of 42^nd Street in New York, the Combat Zone in Boston when porn stores were dingy dirty places with odd characters, lonely souls, and sexual deviants perusing the videos and magazines in search of cheap thrills. Now, don’t be intimidated by that comparison, the store is very clean and well stocked, they have thousands of DVDs but very few racks so they tend to get doubled up, but for the most part tend to be well organized by company and genre, it’s very hard to find a video store that will put all it’s Evil Angel selection in one spot here John Stag’s Empire gets it’s very own rack. This is the porn store you go to when you finally get bored with the pristine plastic sex shops with an atmosphere as phony as the rubber dongs. Recommend for the porn store purist

The X-​Spot is fairly disgusting. It’s seedy feeling, there always seems to be shady individuals lurking about. I’ve only visited a few times. A few times was enough to establish that sense of environment.
From what I understand, hey have «preview» booths in the back. Never went to check them out. Wasn’t really comfortable with the environment.
They have a standard selection of adult novelty and toys, but it’s small in inventory. There are much larger and finer establishments regarding adult novelty located throughout Springfield.
I would not recommend X-​Spot.

Used to have better rating for this place, but was asked to leave when I approached somebody I was waiting for and began talking to them. I was accused of «Cruising»,
I’m not pissed off at the establishment, but am happy to take my business else where. The novelties are over priced almost double, don’t have a good or big selection, The Movie selection is poor, not up to date with any newly released videos.
The viewing rooms are not cleaned regularly after customers use, often with foreign matter on floor & seats, and does not have sanitizer or paper towels in or around rooms for people to clean up after themselves.
The employee’s are rude, and don’t know anything about the items they sell, if you have a problem they don’t try to assist you they tell you to leave so they don’t have to deal with it.

If you want to rent or buy a video or special toys, this is the place to go. There are also video booths in the back with small single person rooms. You’re not supposed to have two people in there but…
