If you have an older teen or attend their main dojo in Rockville you may have a different exp. if you have a young child beware! Big safety concerns. Children are mixed in with adults for Judo classes and there is often only one to two «real» instructors which make it very chaotic and safety a concern. Our exp in a nutshell… we were sold a uniform for $ 80 after being told «I’m giving it to you at cost» only to find it online for $ 30 cheaper… it took 3 months to get on the email/​newsletter to get information and after 4 months attending… we had no idea what our child needed to do to get to the next level or to compete. Safety… big concerns… with the lack of qualified instructors… they have a hard time keeping adults separated from the kids… my child was kicked in the face by an adult and had a 200lbs man dropped on him… look at other dojos before going here… look for child only classes if that is your interest.
