They are very friendly and honest

These folks are just terrific. I recently bought a used Subaru Forester from them that was just as advertised, well-​priced, and super clean. They couldn’t have been more responsive to my questions, did what they said they would do to get the car ready for sale, and in general just seem like very nice people. I’m about an hour away from them, so it’s not convenient for regular auto care, but if were closer by I’d certainly take our cars to them.

I was concerned that this coupon for a free oil change would mean a hard sales sell. But nothing of the sort and my overall experience was so positive I’m definitely going back! I had an appointment to wait for the oil change, it only took half an hour. The coffee was excellent («real») and came with real half and half. The owner/​mechanic chatted with me. The receptionist (who has been there 15 years) chatted with me just the right amount while I waited. No attempt at all was made to get me to have any other work done. In fact, I was counseled that the bad tire pressure sensor probably isn’t worth bothering to fix because when one fails the others are ready to fail behind and it would just be good money after bad. This place is the real deal — a real mechanic, a real family owned small business. Support them! Other locals know it as well, there was a steady stream of them dropping off and picking up cars.
