Small family style place. Lovers of mom and pop dinners drive ins and dives, this it it! Breakfast Lunch and Dinner all day. Good price great food. Just great down home country atmosphere. Wonderful small town people. Highly recommend Apple Dumpling.

Been going for years always good, great breakfast and one of the only places that serves breakfast late on the weekends in the southern tier. I like the fact they serve breakfast lunch and dinner all day! And, the menu prices are perfect! Thats the best part! keep it up don’t change a thing!

Sorry Unilocalers, but this was kind of a letdown. I could imagine it being an awesome breakfast place, but our dinner was slow(which is certainly forgiveable) but oh so bland. SO bland we longed for the exact same comfort food dishes, with the cheap sugar and umami smack of a Bob Evans or Crack Barrel. But if I lived in Springville I would eat there every day until I died. Of boredom.

We’ve eaten here for both breakfast and dinner. It is pretty much exactly what you’d expect eating at your grandmother’s house — totally acceptable(but not exceptional) food and service that’s friendly and polite. Not fancy, but it doesn’t pretend to be either.

Bad place. Rude and miserable employees. Long line. Slow service…

Very nice breakfast place in a quiet, welcoming atmosphere. Prompt service with abundant hot coffee. Several steps above trucker food. Nothing over the top or pretentious. Pancakes are hearty, eggs Benedict prepared just right. A cozier, fresher and friendlier alternative to Tim Hortons — and the absence of a drive-through is preferable.

So whenever I hit a diner type of place I judge it based on a few different things: pancakes, reubens and milkshakes. I wasnt in the breakfast mood when we went here for lunch last week so I went wit the reuben and a vanilla shake. So the Apple Dumplin scores highly primarily because there’s alot to be said for meeting the customers requests. I dont like alot of sauerkraut on my reuben and they made it just right. I like my milkshakes thick and they didnt disappoint there either. Its pretty standard fare, the food is very good and the service was excellent. I was only up there for a short business trip but if/when I return I definitely will eat there again and again.
