John provides a great service that makes beautiful Canadice Lake accessible to more people. We live on the lake seasonally, but with friends visiting from out of town, we arranged to rent three boats from John — a double kayak and two single kayaks. It couldn’t have been easier or more pleasant. Time that I would have spent hauling old, heavy boats from the house was instead spent out on the lake, enjoying John’s new, clean boats. For people visiting from out of town, John will be a good source of reliable information about the lake and the surrounding area. Highly recommended!

Canadice Lake is a hidden gem, nestled between green hills and serene forest, the kayaking experience was sublime. The owners of Canadice Lake outfitters were very accommodating and helpful. This is a small family run business and they take good care of their customers. I would definitely recommend this place for kayaking. It is quiet and serene.

Took a trip to mount Morris a couple months back and it was suggested we take a canoe out on one of the neighboring lakes. First place we called seemed annoyed by the call as they don’t rent canoes but they suggested we Google Candice Lake Outfitters. When we called we were surprised by how friendly and accommodating the owner was. Very helpful. We will most likely be using their services next time we are in town.

Canadice lake is a perfect place to kayak. Doesn’t have many boats and the lake is surrounded by hills and the wind doesn’t affect the water too much. You will surely love the beautiful lake and go back again. It’s a must visit !
John will take good care of you!
