This place is really nice. The restaurant looks really fancy to me. The waitresses are really nice. The food is amazing and ice cream is good. Every morning I go there and it is always delicious.

As long as you know what you’re getting into — a simple southern buffet — you’re in for a treat. Lots of options, clean and nice-​looking place, friendly staff, and descent food.
My wife was not thrilled.
My kids found some options that they liked very much (e.g. bourbon chicken).
And I found quite a few options that were simple and good (pulled pork, meatloaf, ribs and more.)
5 stars would be way too much, but 3 would be too harsh. If you liked what you’ve read — you’ll enjoy what you’ll eat (:

Well if you close your eyes and take a bite if you guess chicken you might be right but the fish tasted like chicken, the ribs tasted like chicken the corn dogs tasted like chicken. I think the chicken tasted like chicken but I did not have any chicken. Service was great I didn’t have to wait for my chicken. I will say that if you are hungry and like chicken you can’t go wrong here.

Very interesting. Good meal. A little confusing for those who have not been there before but we got the hang of it quickly. We had a nice meal and they have a wonderful buffet.

My last visit to a Western Sizzlin, about 10 years ago, wasn’t good at all. Considering that we were going to be in Spruce Pine for a week we decided to give this one a try. They erased my bad memories. This location looks fairly new; the staff was very friendly. Compared to similiar places the buffet here was above average, and a great value. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was that some of the food had been sitting so long that it had dried out. Better to visit at a busier time of day.

One of the few that are left. The food here is always good, and the staff is always helpful, friendly, and at times funny. Usually this is one of my first stops when i get back from being abroad. I cant say enough good things about this place.

Dirty restrooms… but the buffet made up for it. Great food… and I can’t say no to a buffet with fried pork fatback on it… YUMMMMM!!!
