To describe my experience, I would like to quote a lyric from one of the best written songs of all time, «I was sliding into home & my pants began to foam. Diarrhea. Diarrhea.» Soon after suckling down the sweet, sweet deliciousness of my vanilla coffee cooler, my stomach began to violently percolate. What happened thereafter was audible, pungent & horrific. This happens to be the second time one of Caribou’s succulent beverages has given me violent shartage. Nonetheless, I shall continue to suckle upon their sweet nectar(and beforehand, the Pepto Bismols). (Seriously, it was really bad diarrhea. I’m talking about 1st degree burns on my ass kind of diarrhea. 2 days later, I was still walking with a limp. So if you have IBS or some shiz, you might wanna think twice before coming here.)

I started to ween myself off my morning Mountain Dew some time ago, with the help of places like Caribou. Because Caribou is close to my place of resedence I have gone there often to grab a cup of joe to go. Every time I get a cup, I bitch to who’s ever around, taste this shit, is it watered down or is it me? People have told me they think it’s weak coffee. My employer has a krueig machine and stocks Caribou coffee, the caribou blend to be exact. That machine makes a better cup of coffee than one of there stores. How can that be? Oh well… I found a neighborhood coffee shop not much farther from my place that make a fantastic cup of joe! Now I only go to Caribou out of convenience. Make better coffee and you may see me back more often. If you don’t like weak coffee then you know, BEWARE!

First off let me say that I am not a coffee drinker. The only brew houses I frequent are brewery taprooms. And then I can’t stand the coffee stouts that they brew. So why do I come here? The other half likes Chai. I come here often enough to get her one, while I run errands. I wish this place had a dirve thru though. It would save me some time. I like ot get in and out as fast as possible. From my experience of going in, it almost seems like a drug house(not that I frequent those). You can see people stumble in looking for their hit of caffiene or whatever. Once they get it they sit down and enjoy the wake up it gives them. I actually find it quite funny watching the droopy eyed people walk in. Having said that, I’ve never had a problem with the staff here. They have obviously had their caffiene early enough to be happy and chipper. Enjoy your half-latte-triple-trap-mocha-capacino you crazy people!

I’ve only ordered for takeout, but each time the staff were professional, courteous, kept the line moving, and the food and coffee has always been good. It is a very convenient location and therefore busy. If you are coming here to work on a laptop, you need to get here early and avoid the mid-day rush. There is no drive through, though, which would have been very convenient for the location, but parking has never been a problem for me.
