Stunning beach. And this is coming from someone who is an intense fan of Florida Panhandle beaches(a Panhandler?). I wasn’t too amazed with Daytona Beach, but Matanzas(Spanish for«massacre,» yikes) Beach north of DB is so low-key and lovely that you won’t regret not being at a big name beach. Not quite sugar sand, but pale packed(walkable) sand, an abundance of shells, a gentle shoreline, and sparkling water make Matanzas Beach a winner. The only thing missing is restrooms.
