Nice selection, friendly staff. So happy to have such a varied variety available here in St. Augustine.

Indeed, Tonevendor has a varied selection and is nicely set up for being in a smaller space. However, their customer service is lacking. The only acknowledgement I got was when I first came in. I was the only customer in the store with, assumingly, 3 employees(or 2 employees + one of their friends, hard to tell when he was playing an arcade game the entire time). They preferred talking to eachother the entire time and treating me as if I was a nuisance. They had some nice prices, but I decided to pass since I felt uncomfortable. I’ll give this place one more shot when I am back in St. Augustine. I am hoping this was just an off day due to it being slow.

How did St. Augustine buy music before tonevendor opened? That’s right, we didn’t. Now we not only have a record store to rival any on the eastern seaboard, but a regular record fair in town. Here you will find tight quarters packed with a incredibly vast assortment of vinyl record long-plays(oh and some cassettes and CDs). Dangerous store, as how can you not walk in and drop your most recent paycheck? If you want it, you will find it at tonevendor: all the latest releases and reissues. If you don’t want it, you will still find it at tonevendor: random and obscure sing-songwriters from the 70s, cumbia, metal picture discs, crazy-rare Beatles 45s, and an assortment of used stereo equipment.

Awesome selection. Just as awesome prices. Friendly peeps behind the counter. Went out of their way to get some goofy Patty Duke comp in stock…
