The care was good. I had come in with a broken wrist. BUT I showed them my my insurance Card BCBS bronze. They never told me that if WC was denied that it would be out of network. And Cadence as a whole is not well informed. It wasn’t until I went to pick papers for my attorney that I was informed that indeed. BCBS had taken that level out of network 2 years prior. So now instead of a 5000 deductible bill I’m stuck with 13200 bill.

I really do not like this urgent care. I’ve been here multiple times for myself or a family member. The nurses are just not very caring and seem disinterested. I don’t know what else to say. Not overly impressed with the doctors either. Physicians express care on Randall and 64 is so good. Love Dr. Patel!

arrogance personified. I am self pay. They give me a $ 50 bill for a sinus infection visit. In and out to diagnose what I already knew. Thought wow great price… paid in full as I told them I self insure BCBS will pay NOTHING as it is expensive major medical only(I am healthy thank you Obama care) 2 day later another $ 144 bill. I called«services» and asked«how much is a gp visit?» They don’t know. Gave me another number nobody ever picks up and the message says«they will call back at THEIR earliest convenience» what arrogance I hate that term when directed to a consumer by a business. Do you know who pays your salary dipthong?

Like a similar reviewer stated, I also was charged for and«Urgent Care» visit versus a «Clinic Visit,» which cost me over $ 170 versus $ 20 to get Flonase for a cold. The explanation is that they are affiliated with the hospital. I was so shocked as many of my co-workers(with the same BCBS insurance) visit this location and have not had this issue. I called the billing department and my insurance with no luck to disputing the billing type. I will not be returning due to this issue, otherwise the service and convenience of the prescription vending machine were good.

*** HIGHLYRECOMMENDED you make an «appointment» before coming in — this can even be done online by visiting their page as the page will give you various appointment times that are available. With an appointment, you will be taken almost immediately. 5 star review hands down. I have used this facility a handful of times, and the past few times my service has been quick, friendly, and very efficient. I went in today around 10:15 am as I wanted to have a cough looked at that I have had for a month. Being that it was very cold out and didn’t want to drive the 20+ minutes to my ‘regular doctor’ — sick — in Glendale Heights(or wait a week for an appointment!), I went to the CDH St. Charles location instead. I literally clocked in at about 10:15 and it wasn’t busy at all, perhaps 2 other people were in the facility(there are times it is packed and there IS a wait, but the last few times I have just lucked out). I gave my information and was taken within literally 5 minutes. Long story short, I was out of there and getting my medicine from the machine(this is a life-saver, rather than driving to Target and waiting about half hour) at just after 10:45 am. I was in and out within just over a half hour — how many of us have had to sit at doctors offices for hours or in a waiting room waiting for the doctor for 45 minutes? The Dr. was in within 5 minutes of the nurse! Can’t beat that at all. The nurse was extremely friendly, as was the doctor — his name was Dr. Kalsi. Extremely friendly, down-to-earth, even humorous — explained what my diagnosis was and even helped me with the medicines, gave me some background info on what I had and explained it in a sense where a 6-year old could understand what he was talking about. A+ Incredible experience, I whole-heartedly recommend this place. I was home within just over an hour of leaving to go here. Excellent!

Not very impressed so far. We’ve been there twice with little or no satisfaction both times. Most recently went for a college physical for my daughter. The website says they do them. The nurse looked at the form and said she would have to check with the doctor. She returned shaking her head. He said it needed the attached medical history questions which I hadn’t brought because they didn’t require the doctor’s signature. «Will he do the physical if I bring in the medical questionnaire form?» The nurse goes to check and returns stating, «Maybe he will, maybe he won’t.» What kind of answer is that?! I’m so done with this place. We went right to Walgreen’s where the Take Care Health folks took care of us. I think you can do better than Convenient Care.

I WASCHARGEDFORANURGENTCAREVISIT — LIKE A HOSPITALEMERGENCYROOMVISIT — instead of a doctor office visit, for which BCBSIL would have had me pay a small co-pay — for treating a sinus infection. It is billed through Central DuPage Hospital. BEAWAREOFTHECOSTOFVISITINGTHISOFFICEBEFOREYOUCOMMITTOUSINGTHEM!!! This was a very expensive mistake for me and I will not do it again. Their website says that the facility is for treating minor illnesses, but had I known that it was at emergency room prices, I would have waited until my doctor’s office upstairs was open again.

Look at the condition of their fish tank… that’s a good indicator of the care you’ll receive up in here. First– the fish. Poor lil guys, how is it even possible to swim in all that sh*t? Pair that with annoying and germy children tapping on your tank all day and it’s a recipe for death. Just kidding. I mean, the fish tank is gross but what makes this place suck is how ridiculous the actual staff is. I came here feeling terrible in a way I had never felt before. Achy, headache ridden, tired and cranky… I’m sure I wasn’t the ideal patient. Once I met with the doctor, I was diagnosed as having a sinus infection. Given the fact that I’ve had several sinus infections, I was adamant that there was something else wrong with me… I had never felt this bad before and I didn’t feel I had any sinusitis symptoms. Being the good listener I am, I promptly agreed to fill my RX and was on my way. The next day I was sick as a dog. At this time, I was a teller at a very small bank and was working the line solo when I felt the sudden urge to upchuck. Moments later, I’m puking into a trash can and have no one to relieve me for hours! Once I finally did get out of work, I had my sister drive me back to CDHCCC because I was too weak to drive. They promptly ran blood and found that I had… mono! So that explains that. Now, I had been here several times in the past and had never been blown away by the service or truly appalled this really irritated me because between the cost of health care and the availability of these type of «convenient care» facilities, I really think they should listen to the patient instead of just handing everyone a Z pack. It doesn’t always work. Also, their magazine selection is hot garbage, and the TVs are always blurry. Despite my overall negative experience, this is probably one of the more interesting facilities I’ve been to because I got to see someone with a broken jaw(seriously, take your ass to the emergency room if your face looks like that) AND someone with an insect stuck in their ear. Bananas!

I have been here numerous times growing up in the area and most recently was on July 2 because I broke my ankle.(my first broken bone) It was fairly busy being a holiday weekend and that doctors offices where closed. Me and my friend went in, I was able to go right to the desk and fill out all the paper work right away. I only sat in the waiting room for a short period before they called me back to check me out. Once in the exam room things went pretty quick from there as well. The nurse came in asked questions, another nurse came in and asked some more questions and felt my ankle which hurt horribly but she was just doing her job, I sat for about 5 minutes for the X-ray tec to come get me to x-ray me, that was quick as well but did hurt a bit from the position i had to put my ankle in. she brought me back to my room they put a soft cast on me and had me on my way after giving me all the info and paper work of where and when I needed to follow up. All the staff was nice and to the point. They also gave me a copy of my x ray on disc. I would definitely go back here if my regular doctor was ever not available over going to the er any day. I was shocked at how fast they where at getting me in! it was great!
