I hired this company for $ 207 for a three-hour move. They were scheduled to come to my house at noon. The job before mine ended up taking longer than expected, so they just kept pushing my start time back. The truck finally arrived at 5:30: five and a half hours late. Once the crew and the truck were there, the whole job took 2 hours and 15 minutes start to finish. So I spent twice as much time waiting as they spent actually working. For my inconvenience, they offered me a $ 22 discount. Seriously. I took the whole day off work, planning to move from noon-3 and then unpack in the afternoon/evening. But it was 7:45 by the time they left, leaving me with minimal time to unpack. I had scheduled Charter installation for late afternoon that same day, but I had to cancel because I was still waiting at my old house for the movers when my two-hour installation window began(and when it ended). I had to call repeatedly throughout the day to get updates. I would get quoted a time, and then that time would come and go. I would wait 15 minutes and then call and be told a NEW time. The only time the movers reached out to me was to notify me of the very first delay, telling me it would be 1:30 rather than noon. After that, it was me calling them again and again. I chose this company because it was so much cheaper than Two Men and a Truck, who I used in December and loved. But honestly, you get what you pay for. If I could do it again, I would absolutely pay for Two Men and a Truck. Because I cheaped out, my move that was scheduled for 3 hours took almost eight: 5.5 hours of waiting, a little over 2 hours of actual moving. I got no unpacking, no Charter, and a LOT of stress. Also: my box spring was too large for the stairwell at my new apartment, and they offered to come make a second attempt. Which does seems nice, right? Except they said they would call me to set up this second attempt on Tuesday and then never called. I waited a day, and then had to leave three voicemails on Wednesday before I heard back. I think they were hoping I would forget or give up. When they did show up for the second attempt, they were still unable to get it up the stairs(it’s an old building, the stairs are narrow). They made a solid effort, it just wasn’t going to fit. But the movers had a bit of an attitude about it, acting like it was OBVIOUS it wouldn’t fit and this was a waste of their time. I didn’t request a second attempt, it was offered to me! I am not a mover, I don’t know anything about this stuff. I couldn’t find any reviews for this company when I was choosing a mover, so I hope that this helps someone out. This is a serious case of caveat emptor: there is a reason they’re so cheap. I considered filing a Better Business Bureau complaint or writing a letter to their corporate office, but their registered agent is the guy I was talking to on the phone all day and their registered business address is a residential home. Be aware of what you’re getting into here, and remember: you get what you pay for.

Do not use these movers! They are NOT insured! They ripped and scuffed our brand new furniture and are refusing to replace it! We understand accidents happen, and if the furniture could be repaired to the original state, then I would be happy with repairs. The furniture is leather and I have been told it will be noticeable. The owner, Alex, is not empathetic, lied about having insurance, and blamed my dog for one of their scrapes! It’s one large scrape(not including the scuffs all over the back, and the actual hole). Dogs have multiple claws on each foot, not one! I reached out to the insurance information provided to me, and Progressive informed they are NOT covered! If he can’t get it to look brand new, we will be going to small claims court! Do your research, do NOT use this company!
