Firehouse Sub’s is a chain, so this location is much like every other store. Place your order at the counter, pay, and wait for your sandwich to be made and your name called out. While waiting you can grab a seat at a table and get your beverage, there is a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine here so can customize your soda to fit your personality. The food here is pretty good, a step up from Subway. The sandwiches are served on steamed bread. I usually prefer the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket, its more than enough to fill even the biggest of appetites, if not you can always get a larger sandwich. Prices are reasonable, and service is usually however during peak times this location can get crowded especially during school as this is location seems to be popular with the Lindenwood crowd.

When ever I crave for sandwiches, this is the place I come to! #7 is my very fave! People here are always nice and eager to wait on ya! Always a little busy, but it’s soooo worth the wait! Oops! Maybe I spoke too soon! Yall forgot cheese on my Philiy steak! Much disappointed today! I know this location get very busy, but Yall need to slow down and make sure the sandwiches are right!

Recently ordered online and found out the hard way that the Firehouse on Bass Pro was closed when picking up my order. Unilocal showed that they closed at 10pm but the store’s website showed they close at 9pm. Why did they still take my money after it closed? The franchisee stated Unilocal goes out and checks that all the time, well how is the time wrong after so many months? Also, the 3rd party who handles the online transactions should not be able to take orders after the store closes! This is a big issue! The next day I called the store and stated the issue, but one of the owners was not helpful at all… Larry was very condescending when speaking to me. He also seemed to just show me the door and take his food on his delivery than help me at all. No discount for driving to the store twice in 2 days, no coupons, no nothing for wasting my time. I will not be going to Firehouse anymore after this shameful display by a franchise owner.

Amazing subs! This was our first time and all 4 of us ordered toasted subs. I ordered the turkey bacon ranch and everyone else ordered the steak and cheese. They were so good! I don’t want to mention any other sandwich shop in their review but they beat my very favorite that is based in TX. If I ever need a sub fix this is where I will be going!

Everyone in my family(2 adults and 5 kids) really enjoy their sandwiches. My ten year old loves all the beverage options their cool soda fountain provides. It had became a regular quick dinner for us, 3 times in the past month. Our most recent visit may be our last. We were enjoyng our sandwiches with a friend who had tagged along(his first visit to Firehouse), when a group 3 intoxicated people came in puffing away on e-cigarettes. I thought for sure that they would be asked to «smoke» outside. But they were not. Before long there was a cloud of fumes filling the dining area as they stood at the end of the counter waiting for their order. No one working there said a word to them about it. We gathered up our kids and headed out. I mentioned to the girl behind the counter that we were leaving because they were allowing them to «smoke». She looked confused… so much for being«family friendly».

Nice, warm subs on wonderfully soft bread. Be on the look out, they always have $ 2 off combo coupons floating around. Medium side sub is plenty big. And, they have the fun«make your own coke» flavor machines. Nothing better than a orange flavored diet coke.

Thought it was going to be something like a Subway, but it’s definitely not! I’d recommend trying the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket for a delicious taste treat. Plenty of meat piled on a wheat bun. The BBQ sauce and mayo were a perfect balance for the cheddar cheese. Very filling sandwich, and a fair price for what you get. The restaurant was clean and the there was some cool local firefighter memorabilia on the walls. I’ll definitely be back again to try some other sandwiches.

I’m conflicted, being a police officer the age old hidden rivalry between us and the fire department tells me to stay away, but from what I have heard this place is supposed to be delicious, so I decided to give it a go. I had a coupon… that also helped. My wife and I walked in right before a HUGE lunch rush. We got in, ordered and sat down before the cattle drive moved in. I ordered TWO sandwiches because… well I was just plain hungry. Haha! The ambiance was entertaining, and the fire department lingo used in the order process made my laugh. I had a brisket/cheddar sub and a turkey club sub. Both were top notch. I also had a bag of chips, nothing special there, but they are chips… who doesn’t like chips. I see this as a cheaper, but more tasty, alternative to Quizno’s. I am a long standing hater of Quizno’s, mostly because the exuberant pricing and mediocre taste. I was kinda glad to see them go around St. Louis. This is better, but still more pricey than Subway or Mr. Goodcents. The subs are a bit small, I even ended up finishing my wife’s and I was still a bit hungry after almost three medium subs. I probably won’t go back often, since I am still partial to Subway, Goodscents and even the occasional Jimmy John’s, but this is another option in the sandwich wars that I can recommend to anyone without regret.

Everybody but one young guy didn’t give us the time of day. The manager was playing with her hair while fixing sandwiches and the gal that took our order made it seem like we were inconveniencing her by ordering.

During my first visit at this location, I was blown away by the kindness of, who I assumed to be, the owner. He was holding the door open for patrons and then took over a register when the line became three deep. He was so friendly and the staff was equally as kind and welcoming. During my second visit, he was not present and the staff’s energy and welcoming attitudes were sub-par. However, the food was great and I would definitely recommend FHS for a quick meal.

Very good subs and friendly customer service! FHS has always had great subs ever since they originated in FL, I couldn’t wait to eat here, when I heard they were opening this location! The sub selection is very large and the theme of the restaurant is amazing, using local fire department equipment and pictures! The subs can sometimes be a bit lacking but that is only on rare occasion but the staff is also new and sometimes can be lacking in customer interaction skills. But overall this is one of the best sub shops in town by far and love to eat there every chance that I get!

The food is great but the service is extremely slow. We ordered a club & chicken salad and it took over 15 minutes. Their fancy coke machine wasn’t working correctly either so we only had a couple soda options. The food is good enough to keep us coming back.

This place is fantastic. When you walk in the door you are promptly greeted by their friendly staff. This was my first time at any of the firehouse locations and the staff was more than willing to find out what my tastes were. They also have a really cool ‘menu tour’ which is very informative and gives a little bit of the history. They have a large selection of hot sauces from the weak to the fiery inferno and an even larger selection of drinks. I was not disappointed at all and I will definitely be returning for lunch many more times!

Best sub place!!! Their new grilled chicken is to die for! Really nice nighttime crew! Cassie gave a fabulous ‘menu tour’ and the cashier was really nice too! It was a young girl but I can’t remember her name, maybe Kate? Overall a great place to be!

I found out about this place while at the St. Charles Chill hockey game. My family decided we would give it a try since we all hate subway. We went there on a Sunday about 1p and the place was packed! When we stepped the cashier, she was nice enough to explain their are different ways to order and she could tell by our concussion that we hadn’t been there before. We ended up getting the meatball, which my son LOVED!!! Especially since the sandwich is served open face and the provolone is melted onto the side of the bread. So he is under the impression that he’s getting two items, a meatball sub and cheese bread. The cashier talked me into the New York Steamer, which I must say was outstanding! Nothing makes me happier then a sandwich that falls apart and has juice dripping all over the place. That to me is a sign of a GREAT sandwich. The messier the better. My wife got the smokehouse need and cheddar brisket, I’m assuming she loved it since she wouldn’t let me have a bite. Also the crazy soda fountain. My son thought it was futuristic. So many ways to create your own soda, and loved that it was a touchscreen just like an iPad. This place is a top notch sub shop. The manager greasing you at the door, the cashiers and the food. All outstanding.

This place was a nice surprise. I got done working out and wanted something to eat. We walk in and it’s looks like the inside of a firehouse. Great pictures and the soda machine is awesome.

This was my first visit to any of the firehouse sub restaurants. I had heard that the meatball sub was top notch. Well it lived up to its billing. Excellent sauce and the meatballs were definitely not heated up in the microwave. The service was a little slow for as few people that they had in the store. Most of us in line had never been in so that may of had something to do with it as well. Irregardless I’ll be back when I get back to KC.
