Not to be confused with Lakeview Farms (Plural), this place advertises Pumpkins and Produce — We only sell what we grow. I’ll be honest, I’ve never visited their actual establishment, this review is for their customer service in the firewood business. I found them on craigslist and was happy to discover that on top of competitive pricing, they include delivery and stacking for free (limited to the St Charles area and those of us just on the other side of the bridge in Maryland Heights and Creve Couer).
I emailed the POC in the ad (Dustin) on Saturday afternoon and to my surprise, he was able to deliver the very next day. Less than 24 hours later my fireplace was back in business — despite the fact that it was 25 degrees out, it started sleeting AND it was a Sunday! Score!
The firewood itself was stacked neatly and quickly by Dustin himself. Nice sized pieces, a mix of small and larger chunks perfect for building a fire. Once I brought it in and warmed it up a bit it burned well and smelled good! Extremely happy with the quality of the product, particularly for the price.
