Just doing the tour was enough to win me over this past July. My son is two and I’ve been lucky enough to be a stay at home mom those two irreplaceable(somewhat exhausting) years. My husband and I both felt it was time for him to start making friends and participating in a more structured, school-like environment… of course with affectionate, fun teachers. So we set out on the preschool hunt. After touring centers that maybe were shiny and new, they fell flat when it came to what was crucially important to us, that«good vibe»…you know… feeling welcomed, accepted, cared for… or maybe in short just the«warm and fuzzy» feeling, on top of all the must haves… good curriculum, high standards in cleanliness and safety, appropriate ratios etc. The moment I walked into Zumbehl Kindercare, it just felt right. I was greeted by Nicole, the assistant director. Her bubbly personality plus her ability to just listen and understand the needs and wants of our family was above anyone I had met with elsewhere. From there, I met the director Leah, who made me feel like all my worries as a stay at home mom were completely normal and I wasn’t just a crazy smothering momma bear who couldn’t accept her son wasn’t a baby anymore(although I know, it’s a tiny bit true). Point being… in a 30 minute conversation, they proved to me they were the real deal. Nicole then showed me the room and I met the teachers. Ms. Margie is just a saint, my son and I both love her. And the classroom is very well organized, clean and filled with curriculum from floor to ceiling. I loved everything about it, and was sold just with that tour. Here we are two months later, loving it just as much, if not more. I’ve seen great things in my son since attending, he’s listening better, sitting still(for longer than two seconds) to do table activities… even coloring! I was shocked. Has better table manners and is a happy boy at drop off and pick up, proving to me that we definitely made the right pick!

I wanted to update my review for Kindercare. My daughter has now attended for over a year and I think other parents would appreciate my insight. 1. The teachers are incredible. You can tell they take a personal interest in your child. They learn about them and know their likes and dislikes. They accommodate your child’s learning style and keep the parents involved. Also you are sent home w a detailed daily sheet that informs you of your child’s routine and daily accomplishments. 2. They teach your child new things daily. Unlike most daycares– Kindercare teaches your child basic Spanish, shapes, numbers, and how to read. I am very impressed with how much my daughter comes home repeating. 3. They encourage healthy habits. My daughter now comes home using manners(excuse me, thank you, sir, mam) — we do practice these manners at home as well– but I’ve seen more consistency since she began her journey here. Basically– I’m madly in love with the teachers and school. I would highly recommend them!
