I had never been to a Texas Roadhouse before, but we had a gift certificate and decided to stop and try it. We both enjoyed the warm rolls with cinnamon butter, and the food came out relatively quickly. My salad was super cold, which lead me to believe it was stored in a fridge pre made until someone ordered it. I got the baked BBQ chicken, and although the flavors were good, it was nothing extraordinary. I guess for $ 10 you get what you pay for. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, it’s a standard food chain.

Love this place. I got the chicken ceaser salad. The chicken was was perfectly cooked, while the dressing was a sweet taste. My boyfriend got a 16oz ribeye cooked medium. Everything is perfect! Our server is very kind, and not bad on the eyes. Lol! Will for sure be coming back!

We had not been to Longhorn in a long time. We went there be employees cause we needed something close to highway 70. It was busy, but we got a table within 10 minutes. We must have made it just as the tables turned. As we were walking to our table, they asked if we want a cactus onion; and they placed the order right then. The food was hot and tasty. They served each course very efficiently. As we left, we must have had 15 thank us for coming in and to have a great night. This really made us welcome to come back. Longhorn management has done a very good job training their staff!!!

First meal was great. Second one, couldn’t seem to cook the chicken all the way through. It came to the table 2x all pinky inside. Ick. The cook cooked it twice for me. They also thought it weird i wanted them to sweep under the table before i sat down. Like i want to stand on someone else’s peanut shells. This is a great place for a heart attack if you eat there all the time. I didn’t /don’t, so ok. They also did the order right — potato — no toppings, steak was medium. So that was good. Nice people. I just found the place messy /dirty.

I usually cringe at anything with Texas in it, but this place is my favorite chain to get a steak. I only go to Flemings when the company is paying.

Rolls here are AMAZING! loved it. Was on vacation here and came in for some dinner. Best ribeye I’ve ever had. Would be back but I live back in California. Would 100% recommend it to anyone in town.

I am quite disappointed. Ordered the pulled pork dinner with salad, fries, chicken wings and rattle snake bites. The best thing was the fries, peanuts and rolls. Caesar salad had gobs of tasteless dressing, puled pork had little spice but sweet and more like ketchup. And though the menu stated wings were boneless I misread and thought they were wings. It is a pet peeve that their not wings at all but just chicken strips and belong on kids menus only. Wings have bones!!! I will not return since i have had better for similar price and less wait. The place was also freezing cold, there were more guests waiting outside in the warmth versus in the waiting area.

I like Texas Road House because I can order off the menu and have my food prpared just as I would if I were at home. I’m picky and demanding when it comes to what I eat so I need the freedom to order according to my diet. TRH cooks my chicken breast and broccoli to perfection. The rolls are sinfully delicious(don’t judge me I only take a teeny weeny corner) so soft and warm and melt in your mouth like butter. The best part about TRH are the nuts(no pun intended) lol…

Went there for my sons birthday. Called them to advise them of our group. No problem they said. We waited over an hour to be seated. Extremely poor service. Go to the Kirkwood Texas Roadhouse. Much, much better service. You will not like this hole. Smokey atmosphere. Haven’t they heard about second hand smoke. Never again.

Not bad. Not amazing either. Just A-OK. Had the roast chicken with mashed potatoes. They give you the option of white or brown gravy. Mmm. Both sounded artery-cloggin’ deelishious but I went with the brown which was supposedly lighter. Overall not bad for the cost. Juicy chicken! Sad you cannot BYOB though. I had some red wine I would have liked to bring… alas. Beware, dinner rolls are like crack and will make you fat. But they’re SOOO good.

Well, howdy. I reckon you’ve stumbled upon this review ’cause you’re thinkin’ of gettin’ some vittles at the Texas Roadhouse. Now, I’ve only been to this here location once, but I’d be more than happy to tell you about the place. ATMOSPHERE First off, this eatery can get mighty busy. I had supper here with family to celebrate my brother-in-law’s birthday this past Sunday. We arrived at 5:30, and boy howdy, a lot of folks were already there. Fortunately for us, we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. If you’re concerned about the wait, you might oughta check out their«call-ahead seating» option. Inside you’ll find Texas décor and country music. It sure can get loud inside, ‘specially when there’s a birthday. If you’re celebratin’ another year, they’ll come over to your table, hootin’ and hollerin’, with a saddle for you to hop on and a napkin for you to swing around in the air. Yee-haw, y’all! The brother-in-law wouldn’t let no one tip the waitress off about his birthday, though. He didn’t want ‘em makin’ a big fuss over him. FOOD One nice thing about this place is that you can get right to eatin’ as soon as you’re seated. You’ll have a bucket of peanuts and a basket of warm sweet rolls at your table. Lord, have mercy! Those rolls are delicious. Last Sunday, I grabbed one before my be-hind had even hit the seat. One bite, and I was ready to do the boot scootin’ boogie across the restaurant. For my meal, I ordered the BBQ chicken breast. Now, that’s just an eight-ounce breast in BBQ sauce, but it ain’t bad. I’ve had this at the O’Fallon Roadhouse, and I found the chicken I had at Sunday supper was a wee better than what I had over yonder. My meal came with two sides. I chose a cup of chili and a loaded baked tater.(By tater, I mean potato. I, of course, ain’t talkin’ ’bout my cousin Tater.) The chili had a good flavor, but it wasn’t as good as my mama’s chili. That’s for damn sure. It contained beans, which is unheard of to some Texans. I happen to like beans in my chili. Just don’t tell no one! I might get my Native Texan card revoked. The chili is topped with cheese and onions, but I didn’t want no onions on mine. I stirred the cheese in my chili, and as it melted, it sure got ornery. I was lookin’ like a fool tryin’ to eat my chili all ladylike, with that cheese just hangin’ off my spoon all willy-nilly. The loaded baked tater came with sour cream, butter, cheese, and bacon. It was your typical baked tater. Things might be bigger in Texas, but the sides sure ain’t bigger at the Texas Roadhouse. My tater was the cutest lil thing, but I thought the amount of green beans my mama had was downright piddlin’. Don’t you go gettin’ me wrong, though. You’ll have plenty to eat. By the time you’ve had bread, peanuts, and your meal, you’ll prolly leave full as a tick. I know I sure was full. I shoulda had a salad as one of my sides. They serve their salads in chilled bowls, like they done come straight outta the icebox. How about that? SERVICE I thought the service here was fine. The waitress kept our glasses filled, but on our first round of refills, she mistakenly gave my brother-in-law and me regular Cokes instead of Diet Cokes. Bless her heart. She was so sorry about that. I suppose the meal also seemed a lil rushed. It’s a busy place, so I feel like they’re tryna get you in and out as fast as they can. We were only halfway through our supper, and the waitress was already askin’ if we needed doggie bags. Hold your horses, ma’am. Accents ain’t the only slow thing about the South. We’re enjoyin’ our meal over here. OVERALL I give this lone-star restaurant three rootin’, tootin’ stars. It’s a fun place to go if you ain’t in a hurry. The food is alright, but the rolls are on a whole nother level. Oooh-weee! Them rolls are some good eatin’, I tell you what. DISCLAIMER Please note this review was not intended to be offensive or to make fun of Texans. I am from Texas, unlike the Roadhouse(which is from Colorado). I lived in East Texas for nearly 30 years, and I’m darn proud of it. :)

Almost always good. Great $ 10 specials on Wednesday. Usually very busy, call ahead. Seating can be a problem with young children. Some of the booths are extremely small if you’re an average adult(34″ waist or larger) your stomach will touch the table. The free bread is good. Service is usually fast and polite no matter how busy they are.

Start with the warm bread and butter, deep fried pickles and then just order a steak or ribs. Food was good, but service was slow. Called ahead to reserve a table and still had to wait about 30 minutes for a table even though they said it would just be 5 minutes. Just average, typical chain restaurant. Very fairly priced. Ample parking although was packed the night we went.

I’ve been here a few times, but only just now writing a review. As someone who doesn’t really eat red meat, I can only speak on the menu items I’ve had, however, those I’ve visited with really loved the Ribeye and Ribs. Didn’t have to use any steak sauce, which is typically a testament to how good a steak is. Anywho, I’ve had their rattlesnake bites, boneless wings, potato skins, bloomin onion and fried pickles… all of which I loved. Their boneless wings have a good«kick» even though I ordered the mild, so have your water ready. I prefer to have my potato skins a little crisper, so I will ask next time. The fried pickles are the slices, which are the best vs spears, get them!

Great service! Two managers came over to see how our dinner was. Our server was so nice and he didn’t bother us or ignore us. Our food was amazing! Oh and the sangria margarita is delicious.

Service was really quick, but I was really disappointed with them being out of Prime Rib by 6:30 for dinner. If you call yourself a Steakhouse you better not run out of Prime Rib before the dinner rush even starts. The meals were good and cooked correctly. If we come back I guess we will need to come by 4:00 with the blue hairs.

The Texas Roadhouse, a perfect place to go if you are sick of the Longhorn/Outback loop. They offer something a little different than the other steak chains, and they do it with a smile. The appetizers were tasty and the drinks were strong. I was a happy steak eater on this visit. I ordered the rib-eye; medium rare. It was a delightful cut of meat with a good taste. I’m sure we will be back again to sample a sirloin.
