If I could give 10 stars I would. This place is amazing! I have donated my hair, and my 8 year old daughter has donated her hair twice to this place. The salon really takes their time when cutting our hair. They made my daughter feel so special, her cut was cute and accurate, everyone compliment her. The stylists was so nice she even put alittle glitter on her hair. We have had many different stylists cut our hair and they were all great! Mine cost $ 40, $ 20 goes to the stylists and &20 goes to set the off cost of making the wig, if you ask me that’s a fraction of the cost a different place would charge you. I still come here even when I don’t donate my hair. And the money is going to a good cause, I’d much rather spend my money on know this than some snoody girl who spends 15 mins on my hair and charges me $ 100 bucks. I got a shampoo, cut, and style for that. She spent an hour and a half on my hair, well worth the price. My daughter cut was only $ 20 and she got the same treatment. This place is non profit and all money’s goes into making the wigs. The owners husband even went as far as buying my daughter a book while we waiting for our cuts! We will always come bAck to this place just as long as their open! Hope that this review will someone to decide to come here regardless of the price. While again is not bad at all. Thankyou!

I once lost my hair from Alopecia and the first place we went was the Go-Green Salon/Wigs4Kids! I was immediately impressed with how much they offer their kids and customers with not only beautiful hair pieces but art classes, parties, and even complimentary counseling. The actual Salon is lovely too. The staff is very friendly and caring. Now that my hair has grown back with the their support, I’ve gotten a keratin treatment done on my hair and months late it’s still amazing. Supporting this salon supports the kids!

This review is for the salon not the Wig4Kids program. Take your children to a KIDFRIENDLYSALON and send their hair to Wigs4Kids or another place like Locks of Love. We had a terrible experience at the salon with my 3 year old. My three year old ended up donating over 11 inches. We were told she could donated 7 – 8 inches if she didn’t want to have her hair cut super short, but 10 is ideal. The stylist said 10 inches would bring it ½ inch above her shoulders. I said that is fine, but no shorter that’s the shortest I want to go. She literally HACKED her hair off. It is now to her chin, completely uneven and it looks like my 5 year old cut it! I am heartbroken that this exciting experience turned out so sad. We drove from Plymouth to donate. I would NEVER recommend this salon! Pictures don’t lie. I wish I could upload a photo you would be horrified. My friend who is a stylist said«this is a job of a lazy stylist!» and«if she can’t work with kids she shouldn’t have taken on a 3 year old!»

I recently donated my hair for Wigs for Kids here! While the staff was VERY friendly and encouraging, the only thing I disagreed with was the way you have to go about donating. Its $ 40 for the cut, style, and donation. Yep I said it for the DONATION… I thought donating my hair is more than enough?! This was the first time I ever donated and I hope that I can do it again, but I had many other salons that were willing to do it for absolutely free after I told them about the Dollar donation that is included in this«deal». In the end all that matters is that a child will have a wig but geez…

The staff at Go Green Salon makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door! Regardless of the service you are having, you will love the outcome! Maggie and Katrina are professionals and I would trust either one of them with my hair any day! Also, their prices are insanely reasonable. $ 45 for a women’s haircut? Yes, please! I’ve paid $ 100 for cuts that weren’t worth $ 20 at other places. For the atmosphere, service and talent you’re getting — $ 45 is a steal! I wish I lived closer to this salon!
