months ago when we moved here we got a bed here. we were ‘given’ two free pillows. it was delivered with a box spring we discovered we did not need as the bedroom set we got did not require one. we called and said that we didnt need it and were told that we would be charged for them to pick it up. in our purchase agreement, written, and what we were verbally told, it was made clear to us that we could return and have refunded any component of the bed for any reason. the employees did not return my many calls, made up excuses for not calling and then suggested that we try to sell the frame on craigslist. when i was finally called back, i informed them of what we perceived to be the agreement and mattress firm’s obligation to take back any part and they reluctantly agreed, but then were unable to give us a firm pick up date. i was beyond fed up with the worst customer service at this point and decided to check out the same beauty rests at other stores(the names of each mattress are different but it is not brain surgery to figure out which are the equivalents at each store). the same mattress, at sears, was SEVERAL hundred dollars cheaper than it was at mattress firm. long, long, long story short, we returned the overpriced, horribly customer serviced bed to mattress firm. we were not allowed to return the two ‘free’ pillows, which cost over 120 bucks each. we guessed thatis how they scam people. who knows. we were sure to let the regional head office know how shitty our entire experience was. never again mattress firm.
