Denny’s

Terrible! Every single time I make a pick up order it’s wrong. It’s like they just don’t care to make it right because I’m not there to say anything. So disappointed every time. I think I’m done trying here

2 adults 1 teen and 2 toddlers. we ordered a kids meal to be split into halves and the cook was kind to give us one more pancake so each kid can have the exact same amount. we also ordered the philly cheesesteak omelette and slamburger. philly cheese steak omelette was perfection. the slamburger with eggs over easy was also a killer entrée. i ordered the red white and blue slam with hash browns and scrambled eggs. eggs were more like an omelette than scrambled but it was still good. the hash browns weren’t burnt. thank god. the blueberry pancakes with strawberries and cream cheese icing and whip cream was a little too sweet for breakfast. however if you don’t mind the sweet first thing in the morning, i must say it was a good choice. the iced cappucino was perfect.
our waitress and the hostess who sat us were also very friendly.

Road Warriors Rejoice! This Denny’s General Manager John Sullivan is sensitive to folks like us who require wifi to work from our laptops. In my case, I occupied a booth by the window for several hours, toning some photo files for my website. Mr. Sullivan made an astute assumption as he welcomed me and somehow knew I was in search of an AC outlet. Because of his sensitivity I just completed a days worth of Photo-​shopping of several Milky Way photos, made around 3:00 a.m., flying across Zion National Park. Kudos to Denny’s waitress «Betty,» too, a Boston transplant is the classic waitress who calls you «honey!» There are two Denny’s in St. George. This one is located at 155 N. 1000 East Street. I’ve enjoyed Denny’s restaurants since I was a kid, traveling long stretches of highway between cities. This Denny’s in St. George has at least one booth that is laptop friendly; just ask John Sullivan.

Came in today at 8:45am. Got seated right away. Waited 15 minutes at table once seated. No one came to take our drink or food order but they did take the orders of guests that arrived after us. The place was not even busy. Poor service so we left. Do not recommend.

I can’t get enough breakfast foods. No matter what hour of the day I think it’s great! The ham and cheese omelette is great and so is the Philly Cheesesteak with yummy hash browns and toast. Our server was very polite and prompt!
What I love most about the Denny’s restaurants are that they all feel like you are going to a small home town diner!

Called in my order from across the street (staying at the days inn). It wasn’t a complicated order, a couple quesadillas and some steamed veggies. They forgot 3 sides of steamed veggies and sautéed the order they did remember. I had to walk back over and got a basic apology but nothing above and beyond. Not sure if people are different in Utah, but every time I spoke they looked at me like they couldn’t comprehend my order.

Our first American diner experience! We were very impressed. The restaurant was very clean and homey, the staff friendly and a good menu to choose from. Cheapest place we’ve found for a decent steak.

This is our second time to this Denny’s. We’re from San Diego and stop here on our way back from Zion National Park. I must admit, this is the BEST Denny’s I have ever been too! The staff are quick, courteous and ensure everything is perfect. I believe the manager even asked us after our meal if anything could have been different. And the food was great! The pancakes were fluffy and amazing, and the hash browns were cooked perfectly. The pancakes here were better than the five star Westin restaurant, which probably cost three times as much. I highly recommend this Denny’s! We will be back again.

This location recently had a major overhaul and is pretty nice now. Friendly staff. Good food.

AMAZING! I had a really great meal here. Even the coffee was good enough to drink. I give it 5 stars because its all relative. Most Denny’s are worth driving far away from, but this one is a great spot to get a meal.
Oh, and the views at dawn are among the best ever!

I had the New Human Torch Skillet that was pretty yummy. Here’s the ingredients off the menu:
Hearty breakfast sausage with seasoned red — skin potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, fire roasted bell peppers and onions, jalapenos and freshly made pico de gallo served on a sizzling skillet. Topped with our new spicy five pepper sauce, pepper jack queso and two eggs cooked to order. (Cal950−1130)
If you like a zing to your breakfast then this is it. I enjoy tobasco on my eggs and this skillet is just as spicy.
My server, Teri, was delightful and efficient. My coffee was always topped off

Stopped in here for dinner since it was walking distance from our motel. Very nice people work here, and the food was good too. We did not have to wait too long for anything, and our food came out great. I had the blueberry muffin pancakes and the hubs had the chicken fried steak skillet. Basic Denny’s fare, but the people who were working there made the place feel cozy and welcoming. It looks like it may have been remodeled recently too. I’d stop in here again for sure.

Excellent dinner ou nous nous sommes fait plaisir avec deux salades et deux plats chaud (très bonne viande et très bon poisson blanc) à partager à 4. Pour le dessert nous nous sommes fait plaisir avec deux moelleux au chocolat (avec glacé vanille), un Apple pie et un crumble au caramel et a la pomme. Tout était excellent.
Nous nous sommes régalées dans ce dîner américain typique ou nous avons mangé sur une grande table! Le plus était des prix très abordables avec en plus une réduction de 15% grace a notre hôtel Ridgeway Inn qui se trouve juste a côté (et ou la nuit n’est vraiment au passage pas chère du tout: $ 45 pour 4)!

Really proud of the staff here. Manager and crew took extra special care of not just us but a half full restaurant at midnight.
Even the busser made sure everything was good!

Came here on New Years Day and WOW! Best Denny’s experience ever!
We were seated right away when we walked in about 11am ish. We ordered a Moons Over My Hammy and a Grand Slam with coffee and grape fruit juice. Food came out at an appropriate time. Food tastes pretty good and everything was clean! The food, the utensil, the dining area! My God!
The general manager, John, made his rounds and greeted us and asked us how we were doing and if there were any improvements to better our experience. With that step, customer service is excellent. Our server was Toshia. Super friendly and worked hard in a timely manner. They made a mistake on our order and fixed it right away.
Overall, very impressed — especially at Denny’s on a busy holiday!

I had to send my hashbrowns back (as usual) to get them well done, but they still have biscuits and gravy, which not all of them still do. The gravy is the quick mix kind that they just cut up sausage and throw in, which sucks… but they still have biscuits and gravy.

Went to this Denny’s for a late night dinner with my wife and I ordered the Ultimate Skillet. When it came out I was dissapointed in the size. The portions were half than normal.
When I complained to the server she didn’t even say sorry and her only response was, «Do want me to re-​cook it.» she looked like she was having a bad night so I won’t mention her name.
When the new one came out it was hotter than the sun and was unable to eat it for a few minutes. The server explained that the first one was a normal portioned and that they are preportioned and the new one was double, even the it looked like the it was a normal size.
They only got that third star because it still tasted great.
