Wear a belt, this place will blow your shorts off. I got the Pou Pou chicken and teriyaki chicken combo; was very impressed. Freaking amazing.

Where to begin…
The cashier was super friendly and explained the different food to me. The first time eating here I had the Kalua Pig with rice & macaroni salad. I was definitely impressed. The second time in, I got the Pupu Chicken… That stuff is addicting! The portion sizes are HUGE and the food is delicious! They cook everything fresh and is totally worth the wait! I just wish they had a location in Hurricane!

The lunch plate special is worth every penny. I’m a fan of the Teri chicken with brown rice. I was underwhelmed he lemon chicken but the Pupu chicken is solid.
I’ve never experienced an edible macaroni salad so I can’t comment on it. I just ask for double rice.

This is my favorite spot to get a good plate lunch in town! You definitely get your money’s worth! I always get the Matai (3 meat choice). I do 2 servings of garlic shrimp and 1 serving of pupu chicken with rice and mac salad. I’m getting hungry as I write this review lol! The restaurant is decorated with beautiful art from a Polynesian artist and they play all the local jams while you eat. The Poly plate on Fridays is the bomb dot com! If you haven’t been there, you need to go!

The pupu chicken and lemon pepper chicken are both delicious and tender. If I wasn’t so full, I’d want more chicken. Makes sense, right?!
The rice is perfectly cooked. We had bad rice somewhere else today and the broken, mushy rice almost ruined the meal. The mac salad is good. I liked that it wasn’t too salty.
