Lowe’s

This particular Lowe’s is so-​so for service. Sometimes they are great and are very helpful. Other times we can’t get help and it takes forever to find what we need. So, the really should only get 2.5 stars!

It’s Lowe’s. I shouldn’t have to tell you about what the store carries. If you don’t know… you shouldn’t be worried about the store’s reviews. Obviously they carry what I need, so my review is primarily about the staff. The staff have always been friendly, easy to talk to and prompt at helping me locate what I need.

This is a good location, and they people are generally pretty helpful and you can find what you need. However, I live pretty close to Ace Hardware, who has been local and run by Hursts for as long as I can remember, so I try to support them as much as I can, and recommend them for sure.

Having worked for Lowe’s for a decade and a store manager in several locations including Hawaii I really want to give a shout out to this location.
To make a long story short, my dad lives in Mesquite, Nevada. He has been shopping there for a couple years. He ordered a door and six weeks later when it arrived it was wrong. I was out there visiting from Atlanta and he was really unhappy. I told him he needs to talk to a manager the next time he was in the store. He finally did that. True to the Lowe’s that I love, a manager has diligently worked with him. It sounds like the door will be installed. The manager (sorry, he lost the piece of paper with the managers name, I will update this when he finds it) also helped him pick out the correct paint for his door on his last trip. Without this manager’s help he would of undoubtedly bought the wrong paint for his fiberglass door.

You can have a bad experience any where I guess, but not here. The people here are dedicated to making your shopping fun and exciting. I always stop at this Lowe’s when passing though. Look for the clearance area. They don’t hide it like other stores I’ve shopped.
