I wanted a welcome and familiar sight and when I saw the sign, I was pleased. With Maveriks, you generally know what to expect… except this grimy little place is too small and most of the stuff I expected to see was absent. What is here is is jam-packed in and service here gets to about questionable at its peak. At least I didn’t have some guy try to move the entire checkout line so he could put 2 or 3 bags of chips in the rack like this dude in West Valley did… Note to corporate kids at Maverik Central: you’ve got a lot of staff you need to put in check. As to here specifically, soda fountains were missing several flavors and there is not a single food item I would consider eating in this place, unless it came from sealed plastic and with several choices right up the block, probably not even then. Not that I go there a ton anyway, but definitely not returning until this place gets it together.

This Maverik has been around since the beginning of time. Ive lived in St. George for 26 years and I don’t remember it not being there. I’m not saying it is older than 26 years all I’m trying to say is they’ve been around for so long I cant remember anything else being here. The store is just like any other Maverik Ive been into, cheep gas, passable food but the amazing slurpies bring me back especially in the heat of St. George summers.
