One and Only

I had a truly lovely experience at the One and Only on New Years this year! Great cheap beer, cool pool tables and shuffleboard, great staff, perfect dive bar setting.

So glad there is a dive bar in this town. Not a large selection of beers. Wish they had more. Not too much else to say. Pool, beer, band = Happy.

I wouldn’t touch this place with a ten foot pole. I went to the one and only, one and only one time. It’s nasty. gross people hang out there and it is in major need of remodeling.

The One and Only is the exact type of place where God intended man to drink beer. It is a dive bar in the most flattering sense of the word. The people you meet here may seem a little bit rough and tumble, but are some of the most warmhearted people you will ever meet. Having moved away from St. George a couple years ago, I find myself thinking about The One and Only surprisingly often. There isn’t any classic, good ol’ American beer halls where I live now. I’ll always stop back in if I visit.

The One and Only is the local «cheers» bar where you can meet friendly St Georgians, drink really cheap beer, order fries with Utah’s famous fry sauce and if you stay late enough– sing some uninhibited karaōke! Whenever I’m in town I make sure to stop in. Let go of any stuffiness and have a colorful and super fun time!

Came here after a long day at Zion; hiked up to Angels Landing. Just wanted some beer and some food. Cold beer was great for an amazing price. Food was so good too! Don’t know if it’s because we were exhausted or not, but it was deeeeelish. I’ll def come here again the next time that we go to Zion.

Great place they have a good selection of beer and it’s always cold. Good bar food at a fair price. Nice Pool tables, dart board & a game machine. Bartenders are friendly & I always feel welcome.

I love this bar! Ice cold beer, great music, four pool tables and the friendliest people you’ll find in St.George.

I think this was one of the better places to go in town to go out dancing and get a beer. Sadly that is all they serve. No hard alcohol or wine. Fun college spot. I’d go back. Because there really isn’t any other really good choices in this town.

The beer is watered down bc I’m sure I can drink 4 pitchers of beer be a tiny buzzed and pay under 20 $. Hahahaha
Place is dope, it’s the only bar in town, beer only, half of the local women don’t drink, they just dance n drink water.
Almost everyone is white, so if your not white and you want a wild white girl you might have a slim chance like I did.
The beer is like extremely cheap I mean dirt cheap or cactus cheap since that’s what grows in parts of utah. Lol.
I paid for like 3 pitches and 4 draft beers and still paid under 20. Lol. I was so happy I wanted to pay someone else’s tab bc it felt wrong paying so little.
I had a cool night and a hot morning after the One and Only.
I would not come back bc this one dude wants to beat me up there. Lol.

Pool and beer. I had a good time on a Thursday night on a road trip through Utah. Can’t complain about the prices (since I’m used to LA) nor can I complain about the cleanliness (since I’m used to my house). Servers were nice, I would come back.

The One and Only pretty much IS NOT really the One and Only.
Sure, technically, it’s the only place in town where you can get a beer, without ordering food. But they only serve beer. There are a large number of restaurants where you can get a beer… and a shot… and a cocktail… from their FULL BAR!
The One and Only is a dive bar. They serve up cold-​ish beers on tap and have a smattering of bottled selections.
The servers are super nice and friendly, but the place is just sort of dumpy.
When I need a drink in St. George, this is NOT the place. I can always order a bottomless tortilla chips at the national chain place and get a REAL drink… and an ICE COLD beer.

When we showed up it was DEAD and seemed pretty ghetto… but as the night went on it got VERY crowded seeing that it is the ONLY place in town for the people to go. The prices werent too bad and the people seemed nice enough. Closes at 1 and beer ONLY!

I’m not proud of it. But I frequent this place. It’s dirty, they only serve BEER let me emphasize, there is no liquor here. And no, out of towners, I’m not making it up. This bar is small, and I never want to see how it looks in there with the lights on. But, still I come, and I come often. Why you say? They get really happy when women show up, so females don’t have to pay cover. They charge dudes I think $ 5 or something to get in. Makes sense because trust, it is ALWAYS a sausagefest in there.
Anyway, nice people work there (shoutout to Rev! The blonde one, I think that’s her name) …and the Corona’s are like two fitty. There’s also pool tables. On Satuday’s they play hip-​hop top 40 stuff, so you can back it up on the dance floor, which yes… my drunk ass has done numerous times. Also, you might see your manager or even your friends mom’s and shit there. Yup, its like that.
This place is dingy as hell. But it’s better than going to house parties that get busted by the cops and then getting some kind of charge because minors be running rampant all over this town.
Also this place is properly located next to a MCD’s so when you are DD and your friends are drunk as fuck (not from the beer at the bar, but from the liquor in the flask they bootlegged in their purse) then ya’ll can go order a spicy chicken sandwich or some shit.
*Note* If buisness management ever comes upon this, and I hope they do, please… bring back the pole. Seeing drunk women attempt climbing the pole is unprecedented entertainment.

What there really to say about this little beer dive bar? No frills just beer and crazy people looking for a good time. I will be back for sure when I am back in the area.

It is literally the one and only bar in St. George. That being said, you can be to picky and it could be a lot worse. I was in St. George for 3 months and the longer I stayed the more I came to like the bar. Decent pool tables, pretty good beer choices, and nice bar tenders. I’ve been in a lot of cities where the bars are completely awful, and since this is the only one in town, I’d say they are doing a good job.

Remember people — it’s THE ONLY BAR IN ST. GEORGE so just be happy they’re not charging a cover. Oh wait, they charge a cover? /​table

How do you review the only bar in town?
It’s open and they serve beer (no liquor when I was there).
They also have pool and a dance floor.
However, it’s a depressing dump and they have a $ 10 credit card minimum.
Would not return. Would rather drink in the hotel lobby like I was before I walked to the One and Only.
