Richens Eye Center

I had an appointment with Sharon Richens and felt like I was rushed out after waiting an hour to see her. I have very dry eyes and she actually suggested using eye drops. Really?! Wow, thanks for the expert advice! I would NEVER have thought I using eye drops for dry eyes! But seriously, I felt like she didn’t take my issue seriously and was more concerned with her patients that get the $$ Lasik procedure.

Had Lasik Surgery here a year ago and it has changed my life. My vision used to be 20 – 200 with farsightedness and astigmatism but now I have nearly 20/​20, I don’t know how average my results were (both my regular eye doctor and Dr. Richens were thrilled) but I just can’t emphasize how much this has changed my life. The staff were helpful with all of my million questions and were so calming the day of the procedure. Dr. Richens came in on a Saturday to see me at my one-​day post op and they were there to answer any questions I had. It was a substantial surgery with a substantial cost but seeing how my eyes could no longer handle contacts, my options were limited. The one thing that surprised me was how much the eye drops associated with the surgery were, so make sure to explore every cost associated. Overall, I love the staff here, Dr. Richens did a superb job, and I can actually see clearly for the first time in my life.
