If you didn’t get a chance to pick up some of their crazy-juicy white peaches, sa-wy! They’re out, and as bummed out as I was when the older man told me that last week, I sort of felt wickedly happy that I was lucky enough to have tried the the last of them while they still had some a week or two back. ^v^ Anyway, get your butt out of bed to pick up a flat of these sweet things while you can. Their summer days of operation do jump around, but lately they’ve been open on Thursdays & Sundays. You better get here early, or you’ll be left without even a chance to pick up any(saw many people drive in, and leave empty handed since the flats that were left were pre-sold). Expect to pay $ 12 a regular flat(sometimes they’ll let you buy them individually for $ 1 a piece towards the end), a little more for the bigger flat(can’t remember how much) and $ 10 a bag of oranges when they do have them(yum!). They close up whenever they run out, which I’d say is close to about 11:30am/12pm. Good luck!

Fresh, fresh, fresh! Local?! Ha! The orchard is right behind the stand. Did I mention how fresh they are?! Don’t pinch ‘em!

Melt-in-your-mouth, juice-running-down-your-chin tasty peaches. Amanda C. knows of what she speaks. I’m actually not sure if this was the«real» peach stand… or a renegade who had set up a table outside the gate where there seems to be a slightly more permanent structure. Peaches were only available by the box($ 10 for about a dozen), so we split with the car that pulled up behind us. A good choice, since they were all ripe and ready to be eaten immediately.

Made a second trip to the peach stand… they’re now open on Tuesdays and Weekends. This stand will only be up and around through the summer, but the peaches are picked each morning that they’re sold and they remain utterly flawless. PLEASE come check them out! You will not be disappointed. We had peach crisp last night… yes, be jealous… and it was FANTASTIC! My favorite recipe for peach crisp is Anne Burrell’s from Food Network’s «Secrets of a Restaurant Chef» and it goes perfect with these seasonal peaches. Here’s the link if you’re interested:
