A truly amazing experience at Vineyard 7&8. Julia greeted us with a smile upon our arrival and had everything prepared in advance for our tasting, including a 3 hour decant of the wines. Julia has a deep knowledge of 7&8’s wines and supplemented that with an appearance from Wesley(the winemaker). Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Vineyard 7&8 has the most spectacular tasting room. Our hostess, Meg, was fantastic and the whole experience was amazing. Definitely recommend making an appointment to visit this winery if you are looking for the complete package: elegance, splendor and excellent wine.

This is great flaverfull wine with hint of cherry and blackberry. It was great recommendation from our waiter at roc restaurant NYC. Will love to visit the vineyard soon.

Quite the ride up to the vineyard, but once you make it up there, you are greeted by earth toned stones that instantly bring a smile to your face. Once you enter the incredible front door, you immediately find yourself in one of the most incredible meeting halls with a panoramic view of the valley below. The management and staff are great and well prepared for meetings and tastings. Utilizing both creativity and a relational marketing approach, they are genuine and honest with all they do there at 7&8. Make sure you ask for Wes and Alyssa… they are two wonderful people to meet.

This is a small, relatively new Spring Mountain winery producing an excellent Chardonnay and Cabernet. Get ready for breathtaking views, no crowds, and likely a private tour of the cave and wine making area. We loved the 2006 Chardonnay which is more citrus flavors and less of the«buttery-oak» classic taste. Just a few minutes up the road from St. Helena.
