This appears to be outdoor only and to go. We have eaten there several times and their food is EXCELLENT. They do have delivery which is nice if you prefer to not stink up your car with fish! I get hungry just thinking about this place. Their pricing is very reasonable if you consider what fish costs everywhere nowadays. Fish is the new steak, but tastes better.

These positive reviews are very perplexing. I ordered the fish and chips and a «jumbo» shrimp basket. The food was somewhat over cooked, but the portions were incredibly small for the price I paid. The shrimp were the size of something you would get in 45⁄50 count frozen bag at Safeway. The three pieces of cod were mere medallions. I paid over $ 20 for 3 meals and felt royally ripped off. They need to quit serving relatives to garner high reviews.

I get to-go from here regularly and it’s really good. I usually go for the halibut but I’ve tried a few other items as well. Two pieces is enough for me(average –sized male) but if I’m starving I’ll go for three. Service has always been friendly, wait times are reasonable and prices are fair. If you compare Burgerville’s(which is a few blocks away) halibut price, I’d choose this every time. And I do. One thing I will say is I wish the chowder was a bit thicker, I’ve stopped ordering it because it’s just too thin for me. Get the fish home quick, or the batter may begin to get soggy. And they’ll tell you that. I hope they’re around for a good while.

Over rated. We got the 4 piece halibut fish and chips, they were bland and ok for the price but a little disappointed as they were much better when I ate there last year. The lady working 5.9.15 was really rude on the phone when i called in to order and she was to busy to talk and said ok when I said I will just go somewhere else(my wife had to call back to order) Then again when arrived, we waited a while for the food and to pay. Not sure if she was having a bad day cause it was nice out and kind of busy but I have worked in many kitchens much busier. The owner is always nice but she needs a head set so can work and answer phone, some help or just to be replaced.

Tucked away behind the Shell station and the bowling alley is one of the best fish and chips places we have ever tried! Had the albacore tuna and my goodness, 3 pieces was all me and my sweetie could eat. Steak fries are ok and I agree could use salt. Price for what we got was fair and again if the halibut is as good as the albacore we have a new favorite place. Fast, Friendly service and plenty of seating is all you need! Covered seating in the back in cast its raining. We’ll be back and we’ll bring more money! lol

I couldn’t find one part of the meal that I didn’t like. I was also impressed with the freshness and speed. Nice job, Just Fish!

Loved it. A place that delivers food in St Helens other than pizza? Great! The food was delicious, reasonably priced and they delivered fast. Will definitely order from them again.

Very nicely done except for the lack of salt on the fries. They never taste right if you salt them after they have cooled… Must be salted when they come out of the fryer. Would have been a 5 star were it not for the fries. The staff was friendly and service was fast.

I wanted some fish and chips from the Lighthouse BUUT they stopped serving them there so me and a carful of others heading back from the coast decided to try the food stand. It was cold and raining but these Fish and Chips really made our day! They were soooo delicious. We ordered the halibut and it was as fresh as they advertise. I would recommend this to any of my portland friends to make the journey for delicious fish and chips!

This place is amazing! This pieces of fish perfectly battered and delicious! I love the coleslaw. I will definitely be bringing my boyfriend here soon. I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally got it for delivery. They were quick and polite. I enjoyed my interactions with Randy. Very kind and thoughtful. The tartar sauce is excellent. I cannot wait to eat here again!

An expansion on the idea of a food truck, but, of course, it’s not in a truck, this is a permanent structure. Pros: The service was quick and friendly. The menu is simple and the food is served hot. The fish tastes fresh, the pieces are a good size, and the batter is crispy but needed more draining after coming out of the fryer; it was pretty greasy. Cons: The fries are plank style and are not homemade. The coleslaw didn’t appear or taste like homemade and the portion was small. The clam chowder appeared to be homemade and had plenty of good ingredients in it but it’s very thin like soup(we like thick chowder), and very bland, needed salt and pepper to give some flavor. Our order didn’t include lemon, ketchup or salt but we didn’t think to ask either… just assumed it’s fish-n-chips so those items should be in the basket with the fish. This is probably the best spot to get a fast, decent meal in this area until you get to Astoria so we will stop here again but skip the chowder and the fries next time.

Delish Fish! It did not disappoint. I had the cod and next time will splurge for halibut. It was cooked to perfection. The reason why only 4 stars??? The coleslaw was bland and watery. The guy running the joint was pleasant and we didn’t have to wait too long even though there were other customers waiting. I had the 2 piece dinner and it was filling… couldn’t finish the fries. Will definitely be back and want to try the clam chowder.

This little building is all about their fish. I have had wonderful food every time I go. There is no indoor seating. All orders are basically to go. In the nice weather you can sit outside at tables. We eat here often.

BRAVO! Well priced for portion size and quality. We had the halibut and salmon fish & chips which included fries and coleslaw. The halibut was thick, perfectly battered and cooked to a glistening golden crispy goodness. We don’t normally love tempura/beer batter style because most places get it too thick but this place has it down to a science. My husband loved his thick, flaky, moist salmon and said he would become a regular for sure! I sit here fully satisfied and stuffed, and my mouth is watering just thinking about how thick and juicy the halibut was. The fries are basic crinkle cut style, cooked to a golden brown and quite plentiful. We would have loved fresh cut natural fries but I guess you can’t have it all. The coleslaw is creamy, sweet and tasty reminiscent of KFC, good to the last bite. I vacillated between 4 and 5 stars, a 4 ½ would have been more fitting for the fries and the lack of beverage variety. Cans and bottles are good but no diet cola just diet grapefruit and other odd choices. If they fixed those few minor things 5 stars all the way. This is the best fish & chips and worth a 20 minute drive from Portland, Beaverton or Hillsboro. Save yourself a trip to the beach and get you fix here!

I thought I was going to have to drive to Astoria to get tuna fish and chips… no need! Just Fish and Chips has delicious gush. Light and crispy batter — tender fish. Very good cole slaw and good fries. Will be back! It’s behind the bowling alley.

As someone who lived in the UK for a while I’m always on the look out for good fish and chips. It’s really hard to find. This place was AMAZING! We had the cod. It was fresh, not too greasy, the batter was crunchy… the true fried fish trifecta. The tartar sauce was good and so were the fries! The owner was friendly too! This place is a must if you are visiting this area.

Just had the 3 piece halibut fish and chips. Far better then I expected. The fish was lightly battered and the cooked perfect. Although some might think portions were small, the olé man and I thought they were perfect with even a little left over. French fries were more like shoe string home fries, not crispy but really yummy. Clam chowder was really good and tasted like it was made with real cream and bacon. I am not a cole slaw fan so I have nothing to say good or bad. The owner operator was very friendly and you could tell a proud business owner. This will be one of frequent go to spots.

Horrible Food. I paid over $ 20.00 for two dinners, and if the fish and chips were worth beans, I wouldn’t complain. We got pieces of fish that were about two inches long, and and inch wide. The batter was soggy, and the fish not cooked. The fries!!! Wow, they really sucked. Limp, soggy and cold. I would not go back if they gave me free meals. Not worth the stop. Go next door to Bugerville, the fish and chips are really great there. OH. The cole slaw, it was more water than slaw. sad
