I was shocked to walk into a establishment that had high ratings and be so disappointed. The room was filled with smoke. I could hardly see though the donut case to pick out a donut due to the grime on the case. I did pick a donut but I was scared to eat it due to the appearance of the place.

Tasty, handmade doughnuts with pretty good variety. Got there before closing and we probably had far fewer options but that is a good sign. The mini mall that this is in is an eclectic mix of stores. Worth the stop.

Great place for donuts apple fritters are great and kurig coffee and always a smile. The owner is a hard working guy and doesn’t just set on his butt and watch he is in there all the time working !!! I drive tyre bus for heartland and stop there often.

I love their smoked sausage stuffed pastry. With or without jalapeños. You have to get there early to get one! They have good specialty donuts. The bacon maple is a MUSTTRY! I can never pass up the pudding filled chocolate covered Boston-cream-pie like donut. I guess they are ALL my favorites.

Maybe I don’t know St. Joe very well, but whenever I’m in town I have a hard time finding a place to eat that isn’t a chain or franchise. So when I heard about Ender’s Donuts, I was ecstatic. The yeast donuts are light and sweet. I liked them a lot even though I’m more of a cake donut fan. The maple long john with bacon was amazing. They cook a real piece of bacon(no imitation stuff here) and placed it on top of a maple long john – simple, logical, and so good. The apple fritter took a while for me to like – it looks burned, but realized it was just kinda… bien cuit(kinda… well… well done). And the dark parts provided more of a caramel-y flavor to the fritter. I prefer mine cooked a little less, but these weren’t bad. Unfortunately, I wasn’t blown away with the glazed«old fashioned» cake donuts. They were a little flat in flavor. I was also hoping that I’d find a good crispy old fashioned donut with the pull-apart pedals and crevices. The ones I bought were just slightly bumpier cake donuts. The blueberry cake donut, though, had great berry flavor. It was like a delicious, fried blueberry muffin. At first, I was a bit underwhelmed with my selections, but the donuts definitely grew on me over time. Plus, considering that this is a local place that is trying hard to provide fresh, made-from-scratch donuts, I’m happy to say that Ender’s deserves a solid 4-star rating.

I love Enders Donuts & this area need a Donut shop bad! Very cute and nice shop in a strip mall that was fairly run down but is making a comeback. Great owners, definitely a family venture with everybody contributing. Been here a handful of times since they opened and it is always busy. Great selection and quality. Personally I love the simple glazed donuts, cinnamon twists, cinnamon rolls, Bavarian Cream, and long johns. The cake donuts are good also. Everything I’ve had has been great. Great service as well. Haven’t tried the non-donut items. Not to far off I-229. Definitely worth the stop!

Finally! A donut shop close enough to my house that I can manage to get to before the donuts are all devoured. I have seen the«Opening Soon» sign for months and drove by every day waiting, patiently. Let’s just say, the wait was absolutely worth it. Hidden in a fairly run down shopping complex, Ender’s has quickly become a local hot spot for before school/work breakfast; and for good reason! The first time I went to Ender’s, I didn’t make it in until 9 am, not expecting that they’d be nearly sold out. There were two trays of donuts left. They had chocolate and sausage rolls. The chocolate donut was delicious. The milk chocolate glaze melted in my mouth. I really don’t care how many calories the sausage rolls have in them. It’s a polish sausage, encased in donut dough, with cheese in the middle. I mean, come on! A few days later, I was successful at making it to Ender’s at 7:30. The case was full and they were packed! I decided to get a glazed, since those are my favorite. Best glazed donut I’ve ever had, hands down. The dough is fluffy, the glaze doesn’t crumble when you bite in to it, it was perfect. I can tell you right now, I’m going to be a regular.
