An aesthetically pleasing setting. With friendly service and an expertise barista. One of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had. I’d recommend the Finca Aracataca pour over with notes kiwi and surprisingly floral!

I’m a Kansas City native and coffee snob! So when I’m away from home, I get nervous with coffee shops because KC has the best coffee around!
I should have known they’d be great when I saw they use oddly correct, major thumbs up!

These guys are amazing — incredible coffee, amazing venue, yummy pastries and incredibly nice too. What a great find!

This theatre is an absolute stunning space. With all of the events like film festivals, variety shows, live music, private events and more, the coffee shop takes this place to the next level. The sauces are handmade, the coffee is handcrafted, and the espresso pours from the best lever pull machine in the business. Make sure to check this place out.

I had an apple pastry this morning that was perfection. The crust was light and flaky, the apples and cinnamon with just the right amount of sweetness. The Trinidad pour over coffee was delicious, just the way real coffee should taste. I chose the butterbeer latte and local honey lattes on previous occasions and would recommend both as well.

I am so glad that this place has finally gone to regular hours. This fills a badly needed hole for a «3^rd-​Wave» coffee-​shop in St. Joseph. The ability to get high quality coffee in St. Joe had been difficult before, so if you are looking for coffee this place is worth going to even if it is a little out of your way. The venue is very well set up with plenty of seating while still having a very approachable coffee bar. I also recommend talking to the barista if you get a slow poor, or if the line isn’t very long and you are getting an espresso based drink because they are very knowledgeable and very approachable. I highly recommend the poor-​over bar, but their natural honey latte is unique to Paradox and is very good. I am confident that this place will continue to get better as time goes on considering it is their first week being open full time.

The addition of pour over coffees, manual espressso, homemade syrups, and loose leaf teas has helped this space turn the corner from event space to coffee haven. Looking forward to daily open hours in February 2016.

Something Else Cabaret uses this space for our variety show every other month. The acoustics are fabulous! The staff is superb! The space itself is beautiful! I’m sure a lot of people remember this space as various bars or Mad Mary’s Mortuary at one time! This isn’t that place anymore! It has a style all its own and you’ll be glad you rented this facility.

A great addition to a downtown on the comeback! This venue offers a variety of entertainment and art, and is also available for private parties and receptions. I attended a retirement party for a fellow Air Guardsman, and this was an excellent place to have it.
