The sub was fine, the manager on the other hand… Not so much. I went in to Jimmy Johns last week after the gym, to grab a bite to eat. I was one of two customers in the store. The young man who made my sub was the only one with a smile on his face who was working. I should’ve grabbed his name to give his service a compliment. I sat down with my sub and continued to watch the manager, long gray hair ponytail walk around yelling at employees. At certain points he was screaming«I am the manager on duty!!!» while engaging in an arguement with the younger man who had made my sub. He was huffing and puffing and behaved like an individual with anger management problems, and was completely abusive with his language and power. The other guest and I exchanged glances and it was lets say more than awkward, uncomfortable and the most unprofessional display I’ve seen in awhile. I have been in the service business for 12 years in Minneapolis, and have managed as well. Absolutely uncalled for behavior. Pretty disgusted to say the least. I will not be returning to this Jimmy Johns, or any other locations for awhile. I hope that kid with the nice smile gets a job that doesn’t degrade him and boosts his work moral instead of crushes it sooner than later.

Do not order delivery from this @jimmyjohns during lunch hours. Three straight times(over about a year) they have forgotten my chips. I’m done with this location. I can’t speak to nights or weekends, only weekday lunch.

This location has significantly improved in the last couple of months. They are more friendly, they haven’t been rude, and the orders are prompt now and also made correctly. I order from here a lot and have had multiple bad experiences, but all have been good lately.

Being that this Jimmy John’s is open fairly late and is conveniently located on our way home from our favorite watering holes, Island Boy and I stop by here occasionally to satisfy our late night cravings. Even just a few minutes before closing time(11pm I think), the staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. Order preparation is «freaky fast», we’ve never had any order errors, and the food always tastes fresh. Can’t ask for much more from a chain sandwich shop!

Delivery is the only reason I go to these guys. Corporate came in and told them as I was 2 blocks out of their optimum range, they couldn’t deliver here anymore. WTH? I’ve got 2 stores that I could drive to in less than 5 minutes, but neither will deliver. I work in my home office, so if I have to drive, there are DOZENS of better options right next to these 2 places, and I guess, I’ll got there. The guy on the phone was apologetic, but said, they’d received a visit from some corporate suits, and were told not to deliver here. F-You Jimmy Johns corporate. Never will you get a cent from me again you short-sighted corporate retards.

Horrible customer service, everyone is rude and treat customers like crap. I didn’t get a thank you and my sub was slammed on the register part. I felt as if I did something wrong. She couldn’t even hand it to me. Subs are good but employees need to be switched out for a more happy atmosphere.

Needed to get a quick bite on November 14, 2014. Usually JJ’s is spot on. My first complaint is I get home, take a bite of my sandwich-rock hard bread! Not edible. I bring the sandwich back and all their bread is hard! How can a sandwich place have hard bread?! My next complaint is that my new sandwich had a big ass long hair in it! Needless to say I am out of the cost of the sandwich and I have no dinner to eat!!!

I love these reviews-spot on! This place is touch and go. To their credit they’ve never messed up an order on us, but I did just waited 55 mins for a delivery(2 miles away). When I called the store the dude said they deliver to what’s closest first, and not based on who ordered first. When this happened previously, the manager asked me to call the regional office and ask them to support him hiring more drivers(which I did). The driver tonight said there are only two of them on and when they do hire more people they don’t want to work weekends and quit. Said he’s been on since 11AM with no break. This store is a hot mess.

Typical Jimmy Johns food. Pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary special. Its a pretty convenient location right off 394 and next to Rainbow. Store itself is fairly clean although a little small. My 2* rating is for the poor customer service though. I recently had an employee come into my workplace and try to charge us for a large delivery order. We told him it wasn’t our order and he got angry and more or less said it was our fault that there was confusion in the order. Dude — we didnt order ANYTHING. It got sorted in the end and turns out they just had the wrong delivery instructions. There have been several other reviews for service related issues at this place by the looks of things…

I like coming in here for a quick sandwich. Service sucks and the music is so damn loud in there. Never stay to eat because of that. Always get it to go.

Another visit with continued crappy service. Unfriendly, workers mopping floors under your table and around your feet while you sit and try to eat amidst ear-splitting rock music. The entire staff looks like they are in rehab and I love how they roll up the floor mat and put them on the bench seats to mop the floors.(See the photo of this disgusting practice). With Jersey Mikes sub shop across the street I see no reason to ever go back here.

This place has to be a joke?! I’ve ordered same thing twice in the last two times and they messed up the order. No lettuce was the request. Even«please cut the pickle in two» goes fully ignored. I gave the feedback to Jimmy John’s corporate and they sent me a $ 10 gift card as a sorry. Well when redeeming that gift card, they sent me an empty one! ****sigh**** Also, it’s the only Jimmy John’s that is freaky slow. Last nights order took 45 minutes(after being placed on hold for ordering) and I live 1.5 miles away and we only ordered 3 sandwiches. Poor delivery guy was working up a sweat and working his tail off so I can assume that they were understaffed. I felt bad for him so we did not take it out on him. This location needs to get their SH*T together. But too late for me, I think I’ll just grub on Subway and just pick it up.

Fast. Consistent. You can stop asking for your sandwich to be cut in half though. Never happens.

Jimmy John’s St. Louis Park! 51 minutes and the worst customer service on the phone ever! Nice attitude Jasmine! Lets see if the manager actually calls me like I requested… good thing my house wasn’t burning down! Not so FREAKYFAST

I’m a little addicted to Jimmy John’s, sadly, this place doesn’t deserve the name. The staff are very friendly, hence the two stars and not one. But the wait time for a sandwich is nearly as long as at Noodle’s n Company next door. The sandwiches don’t even taste like Jimmy John’s. It’s a total disappointment and no one who works there seems to realize it.

I’ve seen Jimmy John’s all over having recently moved to Minneapolis from San Francisco. The décor and ambiance seemed nice, and the menu looked interesting. I ordered a Turkey Tom sandwich but asked them to hold the mayo and add vinaigrette. This was probably the most bland sandwich I’ve ever had. The bread is spongy and if there was vinaigrette on it I couldn’t taste it(and I asked them twice to be sure to include the vinaigrette). I’ve been to Subway many times for a quick lunch but Subway wasn’t the type of place I’d recommend to anyone. But compared to Jimmy John’s I think Subway is much more flavorful and offers better bread choices.

Two coworkers & I went to this location to take part in the so-called Customer Appreciation Day $ 18″ subs. One of them is allergic to gluten. I caught a Facebook posting regarding that subject. Jimmy John’s had replied that if the person were to make the employee aware, she can get the Unwhich for $ 1. The manager refused. I became rather upset that my friend was being discriminated against. An older manager came out, and made the other manager get the unwhich made. RUDE!!!
