Went in for an appraisal of some family jewelry. All three of the folks we spoke with there were very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Spent over an hour with us leading up to closing time and were very intent on assisting us. Gave us a bunch of background and history on the pieces we had which we all felt was very interesting. Would highly recommend them to anyone else in search of appraisals on coins or jewelry and they have some very nice pieces of estate jewelry there for purchase. A+ operation.

I LOVE Crestwood Coin and Jewlers! We have used them for years for several thing, I ordered items in for gifts for our attendants in our wedding, I had a ring customized for my sister, and my my wedding band came from them. If they don’t have what you are looking for in stock then they will help you find what you do want and get it in for you to look at!

It’s always a pleasure to come into Crestwood Coin. My experience with them is mainly in coins, so this review is based on that. They carry a good stock of modern and classic US coinage and a wide selection of US, private, and foreign bullion. Great selection of numismatic supplies too. Their supply of coin and bullion in the counter displays may seem somewhat limited, but they’ll be happy to pull out other stuff for you to look over as well.
As their name implies, they are also a full service jeweler. I took my wife’s wedding ring there for repair earlier this year as a stone had fallen out, and they were very timely and professional with the repair and reasonably priced. I will not hesitate to see them again for jewelry needs.
Lastly, they are some of the friendliest people I’ve dealt with at a coin dealers. Even if they’re busy and in the middle of something, they’ll make small talk with me while I wait, and from a customer service standpoint, that means a lot.

This review is for service and jewelry appraisal.
I needed some jewelry appraised for renters insurance. I’m new to living in STL so asked a coworker for a jeweler recommendation, and the coworker sent me to Crestwood Coin & Jewelers. I called ahead and confirmed their availability so I wouldn’t have to wait long while they do the appraisal.
When I got there they were finishing up with customers who were dealing in coins. One of the staff finished with them while the other greeted me with a friendly face, remembered my call, and quickly got down to business. There were 2 people working — the owner and a woman — and they made a great team which allowed the entire process to go rather quickly. They were friendly, professional, honest, and did a thorough job in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely return for appraisals as well as purchasing coins or jewelry!
