Since moving to this area, I’ve always preferred this Dierbergs location over the one on Promenade Court(which is much closer to home) for several different reasons: 1. The atmosphere is much nicer and the people who work at this location have a more friendly/helpful attitude. 2. It is easier to get in and out of than the Promenade Court location. Also, the general area is less busy. Plus, there are at least a couple of places to grab a quick lunch or dinner at before or after grocery shopping! 3. I feel like the whole store is well-lit and better organized. I used to go to the Edwardsville location quite a bit and the way this store is setup reminds me so much of that location so it’s easier for me to find things. I’m sure there are more reasons why I prefer this location but those are the top three I can think of for now. Overall, I love the yellow sticker sale that Dierbergs have. I also mentioned this when I reviewed the other location but yesterday, I saw that they included their take and bake pizzas on their yellow sticker sale! I cannot speak for the quality of the pizza yet as I still have not had them but I have heard great things about them. I also went to their butcher section and found that they have quite a selection of premium Delmonico beef. Sold! Since it was slightly warm yesterday, I decided to try out their 12oz Delmonico ribeye and for $ 12 and some change, it felt like a bargain! The steak was great! I’ve always felt like Dierbergs have better and fresher meat selections. I’ve gone to other grocery stores before and found some hidden not-so-fresh meat mashed in the middle(especially for ground beef) or they packaged steaks flipped to the side that isn’t discolored. It makes me a bit weary when I see it after taking it home. Regardless, I know I don’t always go to Dierbergs just because there are closer, more convenient places to go to but if I was not in a rush, I definitely take that extra 5 minutes to drive to this location because it has always been worth that little trip.

Three stars? Really? That’s currently the average rating for this place. Have any of you ever had the joy of shopping at a grocery store in rural Texas? I have, and I would have loved to have had a store like this. In addition to offering the typical meat, deli, produce, and bakery sections, this Dierbergs has the following: –Whole life & organic section –Convenient prepared meals to take home and reheat –Soup and salad bar –Self-checkout stations –Pharmacy(though I have not used it) While you are there, you can even drop off your Amazon returns at The UPS Store or get a haircut at the Fantastic Sams that just opened. Is this the cheapest place to buy groceries? No, but they have good sales. Unlike my local Kroger in Texas, you don’t even need a stupid discount card to take advantage of the sale prices. Will you always have great customer service? No, but you won’t /always/have great customer service anywhere. I once had a cashier with a major stick up her behind, but guess what? I moved on with my life and never went to her lane again. Is this the best grocery store in the world? No, of course not. I wouldn’t mind if it had a parking garage like its big brother down the street, but doesn’t «lack of parking garage» sound like a first world problem? Jeez. Other than giving away gold and unicorn rides, I don’t know what this store needs to do to get past its A-OK rating.

Customer service is terrible at this location. I bought many items that included items from the sale ad of buy 10 get the 11th free and I noticed after I paid that the 11th was not free. I debated if I should waste my time but went to the customer service desk and the guy behind had not heard of this«get the 11th free» so I explained and showed him my items as listed in the ad. He called Carmin and after about 5 or 10 minutes she came over and made me show her my items and then she is looking at the ad like she never saw it before. After awhile she says just give her a dollar. It was a very unpleasant experience. I do shop at this location sometimes because it is very close to my home and in general they are not nice but this was the worse! I do prefer to go down the street to their competitor.

I love shopping at Dierbergs!!! They have the best rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy when you need a quick meal. The fruits and veggies are fresh and if you’re not satisfied they allow you to return your items. The employees are friendly. The prices aren’t entirely through the roof and the food selection is nice.

Just finished grilling up 4 burgers and they were simply incredible! Burgers were from Dierbergs Meat Dept and were stuffed with applewood smoked bacon and cheddar cheese, on sale this week 2x for $ 5. Probably the best grilled burgers I have ever had !!! Served them on Hawaiian bread buns. Try’em and thank me later!

Dierbergs was my main grocery store when I had more time on my hands, before I went back to work. It’s just a little farther away from my house than Schnucks, so convenience wins. However, like Sarah S., my family loves the homestyle cole slaw. We also like St. Louis style rye. Everything is just a little more expensive so I’d rather spend the extra $$ elsewhere.

Meh. I was underwhelmed by this place. I hate when places have their deli meats already cut up — I question how long it’s been like that. The lady behind the counter acted like it was some big production to cut some new stuff when I asked for some. The produce section was okay, although for their prices, I would have just went to Whole Foods! $ 2 for a single pepper? Really? I really think I will just stick to the just as drab Schnucks on Brentwood & Manchester, as it’s closer and just as underwhelming.

I go to Dierbergs for two things: coleslaw and deodorant. Their coleslaw is the best, after tasting many different varieties of cole slaw. Creamy, juicy and delicious. Get there early if it’s close to a major holiday. It goes fast! I don’t know why, but NOWHERE carries my preferred brand and scent of deodorant but Dierbergs. I thought they had discontinued it. I looked for months at Walmart, Target, Walgreens and Schnucks. Bummer. Then found it here! Weird, right? I stock up whenever I buy cole slaw!

Staying a few days in town we needed a few things and they had everything we needed milk and snacks If I stayed in Mo again and needed anything I would stop in — prices on milk and produce were reasonable

Basically the Safeway of the Midwest! They have great produce section, excellent bakery and everything else you could need from a grocery store. You have to get the Gooey Butter Cake… it’s DELICIOUS!

I came here to just get sushi. The sushi was bad! Not worth my time & money! Big huge rolls, and the fish looked bad! The shrimp tempura was not made fresh! Must remind myself to get sushi at sushi restaurants not supermarkets!
