Waited five minutes to sit, finally grabbed a waitress to see if she would seat us, she went to find the hostess. Waited another couple minutes and left.

Went on opening day for baseball and I must say was disappointed with the service. Our server was disorganized and non-attentive. We had to track her down to get all the things we had ordered. Had a talk with the manager and he took ten percent off of the bill. I normally tip 18 – 20 percent but barely gave her 5 percent.

No problems, no complaints, no issues. I don’t usually give chains four or five stars unless they just POP out at me. This was a good location I would not hesitate to come back to. Parking sucks, but it’s the city. You can’t expect any different.

Had a great time here with my friends! Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. She was also patient with our orders(took me a while). I got the shrimp and the rest of my friends got the wings. The wings wrapped in bacon seemed unhealthy at first but I ended up trying it and it was pretty good. Overall I enjoyed my experience and if only it wasn’t so expensive then I would give it a 5. Will come back again though!

Stopped by here the other eve, had a beer(nice and cold) and was lucky enough to meet and enjoy a few minutes in the company of the hostess, whose name was Demi, who was super nice, friendly and generous with her time all while doing her job in the front of the house and doing it very, very well. The five stars are for her!

911 Wings: 4 stars Service: 1 star… just because 0 is not an option I enjoy their wings. I like that they will allow you to order all drummies. Their fries are also pretty good although we didn’t order any on this visit. I also like the scenery. I don’t like waitresses who are complete ditzes… big rack or not, how the hell could she be that incompetent and still work there. Seriously, not one single request was honored on the first try. Icing on the cake… she ran my credit card and then dropped off the bill without a pen. If I wasn’t there with a customer I may have tried to sign it using the straw I had to chase her down to get and the bleu cheese dressing that I got from another server because she forgot to bring it even though I asked 3 times.

First time I went the waitress didn’t know the difference between light and regular beer(seriously). The second time, I showed up 10 minutes before they closed and refused any service. Probably the worst hooters I’ve ever been to.

Wouldn’t suggest coming here unless you like being treated like cattle. Customer service was pretty terrible. The entrance makes you feel like you’re trying to get into a nightclub. You apparently have to be over 18& show ID after 9pm, they even carded my 50 year old mother. A bit excessive. Got to our table and our waitress was a little strange. She ran away from our table before we could tell her what we needed multiple times and didn’t really want to help us at all. She seemed in a hurry to take our order then walk away, and was not at all helpful when I had questions regarding the menu. She just kind of looked at me. It was a very weird. I ordered a cocktail and waited 15 minutes for it, but I’m pretty sure it had no alcohol in it. Our french fries were cold so we sent them back and got an eye roll from the waitress. Point is, I wont be returning to the downtown location. Same great food and better customer service at the fairview heights location.

To watch the hockey game, BF and I thought we’d come here. Hooters is really good about having many different things on TV, not just the baseball game. I have rarely been so disappointed. As a prior Hooters girl, I know EXACTLY how this restaurant works. In fact, I helped open this store years ago. We came on a Tuesday night at 7pm. BF was very undecided where he wanted to sit and I know that can be annoying, but the waitress was nice enough about it. We then took about 10 minutes to look over the menu. We were finally ready and ordered the spinach and shrimp salad with bacon on the side and dressing on the side, and the Smothered Big Fish sandwich without the cheese. Food came out in a timely manner, about 10 – 15 minutes. It went downhill from here. The salad had been tossed in the dressing. Workable, but very annoying. However, the salad was actually really good. I was pleasantly surprised. Thankfully the bacon was on the side or else I would’ve had to have them remake it. The girl whisked away, and 2 seconds later we realized our sandwich had nothing on it. No cheese, but also no mushrooms, onions, or green peppers. Where’s the«smothered» part??? We had to wait about 7 minutes for the girl to come back before so we could tell her the problem. She took the sandwich back and 10 minutes later returned. Thankfully they were nice enough to give us fresh fries since the fish was now luke warm. The fish was good. Fries were good. We finished eating and waited a little while longer to get the bill. We paid and left. It wasn’t busy at all. In typical Hooters style, most of the servers were hanging out with each other over by the computers. I know these girls are young and chatty and gossipy and very occupied with themselves, and I don’t begrudge them that. Most people have a stage of life like that. But at the same time, you’re at work. Please be more attentive to your customers and your job. I don’t know that I’ll be back to this one. If I want Hooters, I’ll go to the one where I know the kitchen manager at and have my food prepared perfectly.

Was visiting the city for the weekend. Wanted to find a place to eat and watch the Blackhawks. The manager was great and set us up at a table with a TV showing the game. Only problem was that after 10 minutes a waitress still hadn’t stopped by the table. We picked up and went down the street.

I love breasts. I really do enjoy a good breast over all the other parts. When I come to Hooters, though, I always get the wings of the chicken instead of the breasts. Hooters’ wings aren’t amazing by any means but they’re a good choice. Especially if you like breaded wings. With that said, the breast strips look good too! As does the buffalo chicken breast sandwich. Maybe next time I’ll grab one of their breasts. Both options look very appealing. My main complaint with the wings is that they are light on the sauce. Not that I want jugs of wing sauce poured on them. I just wish they’d give you A Cup of extra wing sauce on the side. Perhaps they don’t have A Cup. On Mondays, Hooters runs an all-you-can-eat wings special for like $ 12. You’d be a boob if you didn’t hit that up once in your life. Interestingly, I’ve been to Hooters twice and I have yet to see a male server. I can’t help but wonder if Hooters is actively discriminating against men or if it’s just by coincidence. I also noticed the female staff wears rather revealing clothing. I’ve felt a cold draft blowing through the dining area on both trips here. I wonder if the waitresses would prefer to wear a shawl or jacket while working.

Been here for lunch a couple times and the food and service have been great! The waitresses are all pleasant, but Titi was exceptional today. One sticking point for me is to make sure my drink is refilled fast, and she was right on it! You can’t beat that! Exceptional service, Titi! Keep up the great work!

I go on Wednesday when they serve the all you can eat boneless wings platter for like $ 15 I love the spicy garlic flavor. All time favorite, next would be the triple dog dare. Then Daytona, then medium. Those are my favorite flavors. Make sure you try the big dipper fries, Of course you have to love their fried pickles. Can’t get enough of them. Lately I’ve been trying there dessert, chocolate cake is amazing.

It’s a good Hooters, the staff is always great. The drawback is the clientele, it can get downright rough in there depending on the day and/or time. Daytime is great and they have so many TVs for the big games. They have a nice back room for big parties etc. Great place after Cards games! The staff works hard, but the customers can be super greedy, demanding, and cheep… and they are not afraid to let everyone know they are hungry. Food has always delivered what I expected… it’s just hit or miss on the crowd. I think it’s because of the location! I’ll be back because i like that scene from time to time!

It’s a Hooters. We came here after the game for a late night bite to eat. Ended up being there for longer than we wanted to because service was quite slow. Our server actually kept coming back to our table apologizing for not having our drinks… which seems odd… just get the drinks and bring them over! Besides that, the girl never asked if we wanted our wings boneless or original and then rang them in boneless. Yes, I am a female, but I enjoy eating wings with the bone in. In any case, the area is a little sketch at night. There was a weird homeless guy outside with like 3 ladies purses… where do you get those?! There’s a cop sitting inside this location, if that says anything…

Horrible service visiting St. Louis from California and OMG our waiter was the worst never once stopped to ask if we wanted something else after ordering our pitcher of beer and appetizer asked her for a glass of water and after 45 min she comeback and slammed the glass in the table — please if you don’t like your job do something else very unprofessional and very disappointed with the service will never comeback and never recommend this hooters restaurant :(

Most nights I would give this location more than 1 star, but tonight they earned their star. For a Monday night all you can eat wing night this place is dead. Which you would believe to be a good thing, but you’re wrong. It took 45 minutes to get our order of 20 wings to our table. Once they did get here, our order was wrong. Go figure. The waitress didn’t ask if she could refill our drinks or get us anything else while we waited. She only noticed I wanted more to drink when I made a comment to my friend & pointed to my empty cup. It then took an additional 18 minutes to bring us the correct order. Sad to say, I’ll be back, but I won’t be expecting much, & you shouldn’t either.

Ok, so I admit that going to Hooters was not my idea. The food was decent, the crowd seemed amicable, and the restauraunt was bright and cheery. Why only three stars? The food was decent, not fantastic. And I was creeped out by the fact that my waitress acted(at least, I hope it was an act) dumb as a box of rocks and tried her damndest to look cute. It’s not too often that I’m embarassed to be a white female, but yanno, visiting Hooters was one of them. Just ’cause you have nice boobies doesn’t mean you can’t display your intelligence! Not going back. Was too weirded out by my waitress’ demeanor.

Rather than a full weigh-in/run-down, this review will basically just be a couple of tips for visiting this particular Hooters location in Downtown St. Louis. It’s a favorite among tourists for its relative closeness to a few hotels and the America’s Center and popular among the Downtown lunch crowd to for its generally quick and upbeat service. My compatriot in Unilocal,Tracey W, completed what has to be one of the most concise reviews of the Hooters chain ever drafted. Check out her entry on 6÷28÷2012. It applies here as well as to the St. Peters outlet. 1) Just in case it hasn’t been mentioned before, ask about Wingsday on Wednesday. The cost is $ 5.99 for 10 wings with fries(and your choice of tossed sauce; ranch/blue cheese are extra I believe) and it’s about as close to a steal as you’re going to get for a hot lunch Downtown. 2) Metered parking is occasionally available, but I wouldn’t bank on it. There’s a garage above the restaurant that’ll cost a few dollars if you’re just coming in for lunch and, in a pleasant twist, the garage accepts credit cards. 3) Especially during conventions, the lunch rush can back up the almost non-existent waiting area until it spills outside(the restaurant actually uses its space for tables and the main bar really well…). The wait might not be all that bad, even in these cases. It’s worth asking. 4) If you look closely at the stock photo that represents this location, you’ll see a younger girl to the left behind the three Hooters girls. In the three or four times that I’ve been to this location for lunch over the years, I’ve almost always seen a mix of patrons including families. As Tracey astutely observes: it’s kind of weird, but it works for them?

I’ve been on a really grouchy review streak lately, so I went back through my reviews to find a GOOD experience to Unilocal about! I went to this location again most recently before a Cardinals playoff game. «The one with the rain delay». We had about a 20 minute wait but were seated and had drinks in front of us 2 minutes later. Fast, efficient and friendly service. Hot and delicious wings served pretty promptly considering how crowded they were. Clean bathrooms despite the crowds too. I’ll definitely be back for a quick bite before a game!
