Mudd Photography

Just had photos taken again with Ben and they are amazing! I hate having my picture taken but for some reason his are always the best! He is very laid back, captures what you want and also some wonderful candid photos when the little people aren’t always cooperating as well as mom would like :) He is great at meeting at the location you choose but also makes great suggestions based on places he has been.

Ben Mudd has shot a lot of portrait shots of me, my friend’s wedding in Memphis, and another friend of mine’s charity event.
He has a way with the camera that I feel many photographers could only aspire to have. Ben has the eye to capture beauty that one might find to be the ugliest object. He’s very creative with his photography and isn’t limited to anything. He goes beyond you typical mediocre shots where he stretches to get the best shots possible. I like the different angles he uses.
I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good photographer within and around STL.

Ben was my photographer for the charity event that my boyfriend and I held earlier this month (Child’s Play Charity Event at Desserts on the Boulevard.)
It was pretty awesome of him to do it somewhat last minute, and I really love the photos he took. There were a couple of me that were kind of unflattering angles but I am also probably the most self-​conscious woman to ever live so I probably should have mentioned that. He’s really good at capturing people in the moment which I think is awesome especially for the event we had… there are lots of great photos of my friends laughing, hugging, or just chatting and looking over the raffle prizes which are great.
My only regret is that he couldn’t be there for the very end of the event when we were presenting the raffle prizes but that’s about it. He also added a lot of special effects afterwards in photoshop which I really liked (saved me the trouble of doing it myself to auto-​correct the bad lighting in the raffle room) but others might not like that sort of thing so if you hire him just tell him what kinds of photos you’d like for your proofs and whatnot.
I’d definitely recommend him for your next event!
