We reserved a banquet room weeks ahead and let them know we would have about 30 people. Upon arrival they had us in a room for 20. They moved us. Served us cold appetizers. Some tables were served in an hour or so but one table did not get their food for 2 ½ hours. Other tables in our group had eaten and left. It was unbelievable. The last table was finally served and it bore no resemblance to what was ordered– steaks ordered rare served well done, wrong sides. We had work business associates in from out of town and was a total embarrassment. Felt awful for subjecting them to this. Can’t believe Pat Hanon has his name on this place.

The Good: Outstanding service. The waitress was very patient and accommodating even going above and beyond when she simply could have said, no. Waitress was also very attentive regularly checking up on us. All food was good. Pulled pork sandwich and fries were just right. Nice relaxing area on outdoor patio Walking distance from both Sheratons. The Bad: Didn’t really care for the salsa or the bread rolls. Probably just a personal preference. The Ugly: Nothing for this category

First time here and we enjoyed everything. Firstly, our server, Claire Casagrande was really good and attentive. She explained the Early Bird Special which goes until 7pm. We both took advantage, I had the stuffed chicken and my partner had the fettuccine, both delicious. Included a salad or soup and dessert for less than $ 9.00. We are looking for a place for a large party and will keep this place in mind.

One of those legendarily bad dining experiences that all attendees will reference for the rest of our lives. Kyle(Kevin?) the server wouldn’t stop touching me, deliberately squeezing and patting my person with upsetting familiarity. Our food took about 35 – 40 minutes to arrive. One of our party had very explicit dietary restrictions that we politely made clear, but when it came out wrong the server attempted to take the dish back and replate the same food, arguing with us when we asked for it to be made according to our specifications. Throughout the wretched process of refusing the dish twice he insisted loudly and defensively that it wasn’t his fault, detailing how he’d written it down correctly and throwing the kitchen staff under the bus. The chicken and rice soup was Progresso from a can. The wings were bland but well-cooked. The burgers were standard. The nachos had the canned liquid cheese on them that one might expect from a skating rink snack bar. No attempt was made to rectify the bills for diners that rejected their horrible food, and after 1.5 hours we just wanted to get on with our lives. (ETA5.24.16) The event manager reached out and apologized for my bad experience and invited me back to rectify the situation. I appreciated this but am uninterested because my experience, given the reviews, has not been unique. This suggests to me an inability on the restaurant’s part to incorporate repeated negative feedback and make changes, and I’m not going to accept a special treatment redo in the interest of recovering from a bad review.

The service was good. But they tried to serve me mussels that were dead. If 20% of the muscles that hit my plate should never have hit my plate in the first place, what else are they paying attention to in the kitchen? Perhaps cleaning things? Don’t order the mediterranean clam chowder. It’s not clam chowder. It is some tomato-based concoction with olives. Don’t order the lettuce wraps. The chicken was dry. It tasted like it came out of a can.

As a table of 15 for lunch; The service was awful. The waiter mumbled and could not tell us the specials. Three people ordered salmon only to find out 15 minutes later they were out of salmon and they had to reorder. Had to ask numerous times for refills after people were empty for quite a while. When refills came he didn’t know where they went. When the food came out the waiter did not know who got what and just stood there shouting out the order. One person that asked for broccoli and got beans instead and asked for her broccoli. The waiter brought it out 20 minutes later after the check was presented and she was done eating. They also have dropped several items from the menu. Don’t waste your time here and go anywhere else.

New Year’s Eve at Patrick’s was a lot of fun. Paid 10.00 to sit in the bar area and listen to some great music by the Jason Nelson band, and have a fantastic dinner of Bang Bang shrimp(appetizer) and blackened Tilapia… they supplied party hats and champagne at midnight. Lots of fun!

If microwaved stringy prime rib with an inedible potato, and a side of day old salad is what you are after, well, this is the place for you! It was all made super special by the way the bartender tossed it all down in front of me and walked off to continue bitching to some guy about her car repair. She did ask if it was OK, but she knew the answer and what was I gonna do, ask for more? Just get me out of here. I truly feel bad about the decent tip I left, she really didn’t deserve it. Oh, and 12.50 for a scotch with an extra 1.50 added to pour it on the rocks? Are you fucking kidding me? Yikes, my first Unilocal curse after 200+ reviews. I’m truly impressed by how completely awful this place is. Really. This could be the worst meal I have ever been served anywhere, the complete package of terrible.

My friends and I had a private room for a sit down dinner and we had a great time. The waiter was great and the food was really good. They had specials on appetizers and drinks that we were able to take advantage of(some places only happy hr specials in bar area only).

My friends and I came here for a bachelorette party last night. They didn’t have a cover charge, which was nice. Other than that, the music was fairly decent but the actual bar and tables were pretty blah. A fairly typical late night bar… nothing spectacular but nothing horrific.

The Manager of Patrick’s invited our group back for a second chance. I will say that they redeemed themselves. Our server, Shaun, was very attentive to us despite having quite a few tables he was waiting on. The food was better than last time, but still just average in my opinion. I got the bison burger, which lacked a bit in flavor. Overall, Patrick’s took ownership of their poor service last time and asked us to give them another chance, which was very much appreciated. Given their effort, I won’t completely write them off the next time I’m in the Westport area.

Eh. Nice, fun atmosphere, food is average for the price. But how does a bar have warm draft beer? I wanted a Woodford Reserve but my waitress said they didn’t have it(they did). There are better options.

Nothing remarkable. The food is passable, including the Sunday brunch, which offers a wide selection of passable salads, seafood, breakfast meats, fruits, omelettes, and sundries. The beer selection is paltry and uninspired. This is good for meeting friends for after work happy hour, but make reservations or arrive early as it can get crowded.

I’ve been to Patrick’s Restaurant & Sports Bar twice, each time with a group of 5 – 6 people. Patrick’s is located in Westport, which is a complex that includes many restaurants, a parking garage, and lots of office space. Westport is always busy during the workweek… but is pretty much dead in the evenings and weekends. Patrick’s is a basic sports bar. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Bison burger… which was extremely dry. This is unfortunate because I love bison meat! The meal was also served with fries… they were really crispy and seasoned well. I’d give the fries an 8⁄10. Our table had also ordered the toasted ravioli and nachos as appetizers. The toasted ravioli were good but nothing to sing praises about. The nachos were a step better. It was piled high with toppings and the chips were crisp enough to support all of it. Patrick’s is a great place to go to watch your favorite sports team because there are TV’s everywhere! They also have a decent selection of beers on tap. I had the Urban Chestnut Schnickelfritz and loved it. The waitress could tell I was initially hesitant about ordering it because I hadn’t tried it before… so without asking, she brought me a small taster. While Patrick’s isn’t near my list of top restaurants in STL, it is a great place to watch the game and enjoy a beer if you’re hanging out in Westport.

We are in from Las Vegas, maybe our standards are too high. We asked for a booth, all of which had torn upholstery on all of the seats. Lynn our server brought our wine out and BOTH of our glasses were dirty. 3 of 4 forks were dirty Our server told us it’s not her fault the flatware is dirty I didn’t roll them. Then she brought us cheddar biscuits that were hard and crumbling The calamari was a very small portion. My husband had fish and chips that were very blah. I ordered a bleu burger with no pink. It came out pink. Lynn took it back. She returned it to me, the same burger had been put back on the grill and then redressed and returned. The manager Larissa came out but she was very disengaged and unconcerned about our poor experience.

I went here with a group of folks to hang out after office hours and catch the Monday Night Football game. For a football night, I expected the atmosphere to be a bit livelier — it was actually pretty quiet. The menu is exactly what you would expect — typical bar food — and it tasted like, well… typical bar food. We had an order of nachos — tortilla chips buried under a mountain of beans, meat, cheese, jalapenos,…you know what nachos are. One of the guys in our group ordered the salmon, which actually looked pretty good. I got a chicken salad. It was huge and I had to take about half of it in a doggy-bag so I could throw it away later. All in all, if you’re looking for an place in the area to catch a game, drink some beers, and eat food — I suppose you could do worse. They have a bunch of TVs everywhere, so it’s a decent place to catch a game. They also have a stage but I’m not sure what it’s used for — Live music? Karaōke? TIP: It can be a little tricky to find the place if you don’t know where it’s at, because it is not directly accessible from the parking lot. Park in the main lot(not the parking garage) and walk through the restaurants/shops — It’ right in the middle.

Two good things about Patrick’s were the host and the rolls they come around with. It pretty much stopped there. A friend and I went to lunch at Patrick’s on a Thursday. It wasn’t busy but the service was bad. My friend arrived late so I had plenty of time with the menu but the waitress came within two minutes of her arrival for our order because I had been waiting. We asked for another minute and she disappeared for 15 minutes. The rest of the meal she was short with us like we had done something annoying. Very odd. We each had a salad, grilled buffalo chicken for me and ahi tuna for my friend. My salad was very small. There were a few strips of chicken with a good buffalo sauce but the entire salad was drowning in ranch. It wasn’t good at all. I can’t speak for the ahi tuna salad. I gave it 3 stars because I come in occasionally for happy hour and service at the bar has always been decent so I’ll likely stick to that in the future. Drinks and apps it is!
