Derby 4 All

Decided to stop by and stop being annoyed that I couldn’t get anyone by phone/​email. Eric was AWESOME, sold me the best equipment, and swapped out my shiny new outdoor wheels for me. Gave me his card with his cell number on it (the website has an old phone number), so I’m squared away. Always a good time when you’re visiting the shop, super passionate about getting folks skating by whatever means necessary, and the new shop is awesome. Keep it up!

I’m in the market for some outdoor wheels and pads so i don’t break myself out on the open road. I’ve been trying for about two weeks to get someone on the phone or by email to confirm what they’ve got in stock, and that they’ll actually be open when I have time to get over there, to no avail. The first time I went there, the shop was unexpectedly closed. (They frequently close for the owners to attend or skate in bouts, and they only announce it on Facebook.)
I love the fact that we have a shop for derby folks run by derby folks, but the customer service needs to step it up a notch.

A nice locally-​run shop for all your derby needs. Make sure you call first as they tend to close shop to travel to different events (I’ve driven there twice before I learned that lesson). The staff are very helpful and will answer any question. I know they are very respected by other derby girls and I plan on visiting to have my gear rechecked in the future.

As I gear up for my rollerderby adventure, I was a little afraid that I was going to get the «rookie glare,» but the lovely shop girl/​derby gal from the North Star Rollergirls, Aurora Whorealis (her stage name!) helped me get my equipment. Larry was pretty cool for ordering my skates ahead of time and I’m stoked! Next stop, Garda Belts!

Derby4all is amazing and I am so happy they are around! Larry is super helpful and is very patient. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I’m all about roller skating, and as anyone who shares this obsession knows — finding good gear in town is always a plus. Especially when bearings need to get replaced last minute, parts break on the skates (and one needs the repair NOW), and heck when one is looking for an awesome new pair of skates. Always good service, and a great location. Derby 4 All 4 my derby life :)
