There are plenty of package plans to select from, and the employees do a great job of selling the plans (as well as products) without being pushy.

Honestly, this is the best tanning salon I have ever been to. It is very clean and I have never had to wait for a bed or Mystic, granted I do not tan often and I usually go in the evenings… Frequent free tanning coupons sent to my e-​mail account= AWESOME. A++

Just recently signed up for monthly tanning. I think it’s a good deal. The staff is friendly and the place is clean.

Beds are awesome and it’s a huge salon! But these girls must make commission off selling packages, holy crap I just want to go tanning, not listen to a 10 minute speech about packages every time I come in. I said no like 13 times, lol stop asking.

Plan to wait at least 30 – 60 minutes for a Mystic. Always.

Decent beds. Good mystics… when they actually decide to clean the floor so you feet don’t turn bright orange.
The cause for the one star… the rude and condescending staff. I understand they have sales goals, but need not be so pushy. On three different occasions I was told which package I ‘needed’ without being asked what type of tanning experience I had and how often I’d be in. I was also never told about the freeze thing for your account and never told about the other tanning packages/​options. In addition, when I voiced my concern to another staff member, she told me that I had the best package and that they are not required to tell me about the cancelations policy, only the freeze program. How unethical is that?!
Before writing this Unilocal review, I emailed the owner twice about the situation and the horrible customer service and after no response, I decided to write a review.
To recap; if you’d like to be talked down to by a bronzed 18 – 25 year old, and made to feel stupid when inquiring about other packages and lotions feel free to visit the grand avenue location.
I will never be back.

Pros
— Freeze n’ stay (or whatever it’s called). For people like me that don’t like to tan on a regular basis, it’s nice to not have to cancel your account and reactivate when you’re ready to come back. It takes $ 5 or so out of your account monthly, and that money can be put towards whatever package you want when you’re ready to go back.
— Newer facility
— Good hours
Cons
— Staff is usually aloof and clearly driven by upselling lotions… the the point of being obnoxious.
— No male staff members. I think it would change the dynamic of that place a little bit
