I’m gonna keep this short because hey, it’s a Pier 1. You’ve probably been to one before. Also, because I partially drafted this review at Christmas time and am just now posting it. The differences between this Pier 1 and others are 1. It’s two levels, which I liked. And 2. The girl helping my amiga and I was so nice. We were looking for Christmas tree toppers and she dug through the merchandise with us like a friend would. She admitted that the selection wasn’t great for tree toppers that year and then suggested another store that had a huge selection and was right down the street. That’s the Christmas spirit, girl. I bought myself a mint-colored coffee tin instead. I use it all the time to store my Bull Run stash.

This is a fun eclectic place to shop. I like to add interesting accent colors to my home and they have some cool items you don’t find at regular retail stores.

I was so happy to see that Pier 1 had an on line option where you can order online and pick up your items at a store of your choice. I ordered a few things and got a phone call the next morning telling me one item was not available, however they had the other items and my order was ready to pick up. I would like to also mention the item I wanted the most happened to be the item which was not«in-stock:. It was a really cool silver mug holder with 4 brown mugs for $ 5.97 which was a great steal! I also received an email indicating my order was ready. I was impressed! Four hours later:(Keep in mind the above which happened at 8:31AM). I sent my daughter in to get the order as I figured it would be an in/out type of stop and parking was a challenge. I waited close to 40 minutes before I finally went in to see what happened to her. I seriously was worried someone had kidnapped her and she was in the back room or something. As I get in, she is just checking out. I ask her what happened? What took you so long? She tells me, they couldn’t find my order and then when they did, they had to go and fill it. What??? Did they not call and email me over 4 hours ago telling me my order was complete and my one item was not in-stock? How could you even know the item was not in-stock if you had not even completed the order? On top of it all, how can it take you that long to find three items? I am not sure what happened but I know one thing: I highly doubt I will use this on line service again or if I do, I will try another store. I will update my review if I decide to give it a go again.
