Delicious! Highly recommend if you want a lighter and healthier alternative to the standard fare along the main st. Prices are fair for the quality and quantity of food. No complaints at all and service was great also. We had the Claude sandwiches and a egg/sausage croissant for my little one along with the Amour salad. Definitely too much for just 2 adults and a toddler but we didn’t feel bad because everything was so good. Definitely will add to our repeat list for St Pete.

This is a VERY nice little French café in St. Pete beach area. It’s in the back of a shopping center with a Publix grocery store. I was able to get a strong cappuccino here on several occasions and the pastry/breads are absolutely delicious. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars was the slow service. Both times I went, I stood there at the counter not being acknowledged for 5 minutes. It was because the employees were«all in ones» meaning they made the food/drinks and also cashiering and serving. All it would have taken was a nod or a «I’ll be right with you» and this place would be perfect. I still would go back if I was there as nowhere else within 3 miles has good espresso. The croissant I had also reminded me a lot of Paris. It’s definitely a charming place that is a hidden gem amongst tourist trap beach shops and resorts.

Friendly staff and great service. We picked up croissants and lattes for breakfast. Croissants were flaky and lattes were crafted individually. Great recommendations on other places to eat(for dinner) and local attractions.

The Hazelnut croissant was phenomenal! Choclatety bits all through, fresh dough, perfect! Staff was super friendly too. I got the fig and blue cheese croissant sandwich too and it was just okay but I did eat it after the hazelnut wonder so maybe my expectations were too high.

I felt as though I was swept away from St Pete Beach and into a real Parisian sidewalk café when I walked into Café Soleil! It’s such a cute little place and the pastries are so delicious. It was hard to choose just one, but the cherry cheese tart caught my eye and it was amazing. It was so flaky and sweet and tart. They have an assortment of sweet and savory pastries and sandwiches and quiches. The peppermint mocha was delicious as well. I love their seating inside — big, comfy armchairs and it’s nice to sit and stay a while. Next time I’ve got my eye on that apricot pastry!

In the corner of a shopping strip, but kinda quaint. Can see the harbor from the side of the café. The aroma of the fresh croissants fill the air upon entry. The gentleman that helped us has a faint French accent & it adds to the ambiance of the café. Very cool place to visit! Yummy croissant sandwiches for lunch, chocolate croissant for dessert and iced coffee to drink!

Croissants are absolutely perfect. Flaky and buttery and delicious. They had 3 or 4 different flavors. Coffee, on the other hand, really fell short and I threw mine out. Café was cute and nicely decorated for a relaxing breakfast.

Honestly, I only went to check this out because I saw the name. My little ones name is Soleil so I had to get a pic of the bakery. I’m so glad that I did. I ended up not only grabbing some amazing coffee but I also had a delicious chocolate croissant. I’m a fan of chocolate croissants but I have a hard time finding good ones. Café Soleil offers chocolate cross aunts fine right. Light and flaky and delicious chocolate chunks. I didn’t try anything else but when I return I will most definitely be back. The café is cute and cozy, the employees were nice and it was the perfect place to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and relax before a sunny day at the beach.

Very delicious pastries. Wonderful sandwiches. Friendly service. A true gem. I did get in trouble for peeking into the kitchen. :/ Located by the Publix on Gulf Blvd St Pete Beach. Definitely a delish breakfast and lunch option. Gemy.

Nice, cozy place to eat breakfast. Authentic, tasty French foods – a good variety of croissants and quiches, as well as some salads, sandwiches and cold and warm drinks. A bit pricy but everything is prepared from scratch daily so definitely worth it. Also, they bring out the food that isn’t already made later – but the food that IS already prepared and they give to you as you pay is warm and fresh, so don’t let that discourage you. Have been here several times already and will be back again!

We were in town for a friends wedding and decided to find a local place for breakfast. Happened to be walking by this small strip mall and saw this window advertising French style bakery, cuisine and coffee. Of course, we had to stop! I tried the egg, bacon and cheddar croissant and my husband had the egg, sausage and muenster cheese croissant. I also had a vanilla latte and he had the house coffee. This little place is simply amazing! The service, food and atmosphere is nothing short of spectacular but with a cozy and inviting look.

Great little place on Gulf to Bay. I got the chocolate croissant which was amazing and a sandwich to go which had prosciutto and mozzarella and I can’t wait to go back to try more. I want to come back with some friends as it is a great place to sit, chat and eat.

This is authentic as you can get for a French bakery on St. Petersburg beach. A nice find in the sea of resorts. A calm atmosphere, employees speaking French and French music in the background. Croissants are perfect, at our table almond, chocolate and bacon and egg. Sweet is the way to go. Back and egg are scrambled. Free refills on coffee, very sweet employees. Just a great way to start a Sunday am before a or after a walk on the beach.

In the photos: the Claude, and two toasted croissants: the tomato, pesto, mozzarella and the turkey cheddar. Ask for a mango passion fruit flavored tea or an iced vanilla latte! The espresso and coffee is a must have and locally from st. Pete beach! The girl up front is super friendly and attentive and told us that they are opening up some more locations soon too!

I am not sure why this place was RAVING reviews. Walked here this morning for a large iced coffee with splash of soy milk and also a small back coffee. The service was great; very nice girl who took my order a friendly co-worker who was nice enough to give me extra soy upon request. I didn’t get any of the food they offered and while the iced coffee was good it wasn’t any stronger/better tasting than some other local places around Boston where I am from. I will for sure be back as its the closest to where we are staying, but not sure it deserves the«as good as it gets» but certainly a 4⁄5 rating.

Gut zum frühstücken zu moderaten Preisen. Croissant ab 3 Dollar und Kaffee ab 2,50 Dollar. Dazu gibt’s Toasted Croissants für die Amerikaner, aber sehr lecker.
