Nice little art gallery next to the Don Cesar featuring local artists. We visited for a Halloween event they were hosting. We learned lots of fascinating things about the owner, Thomas Rowe and the history of the building and the Don Cesar. We also got the chance to look at all of the art and paintings on display while touring the building. I don’t really know much about art, but it is always fun to look at and I think everyone can appreciate the artist’s efforts. There was a guy in the main room upstairs painting a beach scene while we were there. Very interesting to watch! There is a classroom downstairs and it looks like they have plenty of classes and workshops for everyone. Cool gift shop to browse through as you are leaving. Especially liked the sculpture made out of all different kinds of buttons by the door.

Yeahhhhhhhh!!! Local arts and artists. They have some beautiful items made by our own area artisans and a large portion of the sales go directly to the artists. We very much enjoyed.visiting. The shop is right next to the Don Cesar on the south side toward Pass-a-Grille. They have parking passes and be sure to take in the beach views of the Don and the Gulf over the sand dune trail between the gallery and the Don after visiting. There’s also a nice mural on the side of the building. Lovely jewelry,.gifts, and art pieces. Definitely worth checking out.

Cute little gallery in the shadow of the Don Cesar. The Suntan Art Center Features Florida artists(most local to the area). Although the gallery is small, it does have some nice things in a variety of prices. If you are looking for a memento or a gift, the Suntan Art Center is worth a look. If you are traveling on Gulf Blvd., the Suntan Art Center is easily spotted by the large mosaic on the east wall(see photo).
