Everything tastes fresh and house made. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Salads were just ok. Early bird special is a good deal. They could use a refresh on their décor. The fake plant things never works. Desserts were terrible and I would recommend skipping.

Very good Italian food. A broad menu and it’s all good. They have a nice wine selection. The wait staff is very good. This place is about more than pizza.

Love this Place! You want good Italian food! The Chicken Marsala is amazing. The pizza’s very good. Service is fantastic, prices reasonable and it smells amazing there! Can sit in our outside. They have a person who helps with parking. Only Beer and Wine. Try the Mussel’s for appetizer, very tasty.

I’ve been to Verducci’s a couple of times. The first time was satisfactory. We ordered pizza and it was good, but below-average from what you’d expect from an Italian restaurant. You could tell there wasn’t much love in it. The second time I was there, I ordered the Chicken Parmesan — big mistake. Sauce was horrible, watery, no taste. Chicken was ok, but certainly nothing like some other Chicken Parms I’ve had, not even as close to as good as Carrabba’s. The spaghetti side was way below average. Completely undercooked and not very tasty at all. Service was good, not great(i.e., they«accidently» threw away our leftover pizza the last time I was there), but the food definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I won’t be back unless my car breaks down in front of the restaurant, nothing else is open, and I haven’t eaten in a week.

The food we actually received was delicious however everyone in this establishment from the parking attendant, to the host, to the server, to the manager was aloof and slightly incompetent. The parking attendant asked if my friend could read because he accidentally went the wrong way in… isn’t that a nice way to start a meal. Then we came in and they had given our reservation to another party… but we were sat right away. Then we were told the food might take a while because large tables came in. They took a meal off since it was given to us incorrectly… that was a nice touch. Overall… disappointing service but good food.

We lived 30 years in Western Europe including Italy and expected good authentic Italian food. The place looks like it! We had even read good reviews in the local paper! But, we were so disappointed, maybe just too high expectations. The tomato mozz salad was ok. The cheese pizza ok, but a bit undercooked. The cozze ok, but sauce neither white wine nor tomato and no herbs! Not good, the linguine with gulf shrimp were not al dente, but undercooked and absolutely bland, no Italian herbs, just tasteless tomatoes. The veal was hammered old cow(you could see the marks!) and raw inside, in a rather American gravy, reminding us more of a Thanksgiving turkey gravy, on a bed of oily mashed potatoes with some slices of overcooked zucchini. The wines we picked were alright. The server was very polite, but kitchen so backed up, we had to wait so much longer than any wait in Italy ever was!!! It was just so disappointing for all the money. We of course skipped desert and wanted to leave fast. Afterwards we read all the good reviews here we were shocked and wondered if we were just super unlucky and should go back for the lasagne… On the other hand somebody wrote the lasagne was just gummy layers and no ricotta… I think we’ll keep making it ourselves. Maybe pizza we would do if we go again, just because the place reminds us of Italia(although the servers don’t even understand Italian food language)! The pizza is definitely better than across the street where it is soggy. Two stars because people are friendly and place looks Italian.

Im moving so I can come here! Best Italian On the beach. Huge portions but also superb quality. Check out the Ricotta cake. The real deal just like Brooklyn.

Limited review since I only tried their pizza, which was dry and tasteless. Toppings were hard and dry, and the crust had the consistency of Saltine crackers. Easily the worst pizza that I’ve had in years. Gas station reheated, microwave pizza would have been better. Ambience was pleasant and service was good — 1 star for each.

Food and service are always outstanding. We’ve visited Verduccis probably 10 times and we always have a wonderful experience. I would recommend this place to everyone. Italian food to die for.

Went here for dinner tonight with my husband. It was busier than expected for a Wednesday evening, which is usually a sign of good food. The bread and side salads we got were pretty good. The dressing was a bit on the bland side, but I do like bold flavors, so it may depend on your palette. I ordered a pizza with peppers, onions, and black olives and my husband ordered shrimp alfredo. Overall the food is good, but nothing to write home about. Based on the other reviews, it sounds like we should have tried some of the red sauce pastas instead. The service was amazing, definitely a 5⁄5 there!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! My girlfriends and I popped in to Verducci’s about 10 minutes prior to their posted closure time on a Sunday, desperate to enjoy some Italian food, wine and conversation. It was Memorial Day Eve and after losing our car keys somewhere on the beach, we decided to break from the tiresome search and satiate ourselves. Since many places had already closed by the time we quit searching, we panicked about not finding a place to eat and relax. Verducci’s happily accepted our business, despite it being so close to their shutdown time. We were seated at an adorable corner table on their patio and our server promptly uncorked the bottle of wine that we ordered upon being seated and greeted. On this particular night, they advised us that they had run out of bolognese sauce, but we quickly found alternative dishes for what we were originally eyeing. Two of us went with the Rigatoni al Forno — and to be honest, I cannot recall what the other two girls ordered. The portions of this pasta dish were HUGE. Each of us barely finished half of our entrees, and took the rest of it back to the hotel for another meal for later. Verducci’s earned 5 five stars from me simply based on their flexibility. They clearly operate under strict hospitality standards and undeniably possess a genuine desire to please their customers. Will definitely return if I find myself in the area again!

YAS! We first came here FOREVER ago. It was okay. Then, about a year ago, we started coming again. WowowowowowWOW! This is our favorite Italian place. The restaurant is very nice and clean, and the waitstaff are all very friendly. Usually, we order the early bird special(it ends at 5:30). It is kind of early for dinner, but it is worth it. The special comes with bread and salad. There is a lot of bread, both focaccia and regular rolls. It comes with an awesome olive and oil dipping sauce. The salad is really good for a free salad – spring mix, creamy balsamic dressing and carrots and tomatoes. My favorite dish is the chicken parm. The chicken is HUGE but thin, so its is crispy, tender, and easy to cut. The alfredo is really rich and cheesy, the lasagna is the BEST I’ve had, and the bolognese with the egg noodles is amazing. Also, if you’re boring, the spaghetti and meatballs are surprisingly good. In general, the style of cooking is rustic Italian. Desserts here are really good but quite expensive. My favorite is the chocolate cannoli. While the food isn’t fancy, it’s awesome to patronize a local restaurant that has the best Italian on the beach.

If you like Chef Boyardee, you’ll love Verducci’s! The food was so bad we were afraid to try their deserts so we passed. Needless to say, we will not be returning. At least I know I can get great food from the long standing Vito’s & Michael’s next door.

What in the world. Italian at the beach? This was extremely delish! We ordered a Gorgonzola-stuffed meatball app that had a glaze(Marsala maybe) it was to die for. We got a veggie pizza and a standard pepperoni — fed 7 people(3 kids) with 4 pieces leftover. A steal when you’re staying for the weekend. I can’t wait to go back to try entrees!

Found this little gem after having a beach day with my girlfriend. We were famished after a day at Treasure Island and was craving pasta so I decided to do some research on some local spots near the beach. We arrived just after they had opened for dinner time. We were promptly seated and decided to sit outside because it was a nice day. They had a special menu for early dinner time where you can get an entrée and salad for $ 10. I hopped on that lasagna real quick. The salad was pretty good. It had the house dressing which was a special blend of vinaigrette. The lasagna was presented well and was the perfect portion. You can tell that this place serve authentic Italian dishes because this was no Olive Garden lasagna. I also had a bite of my friend’s chicken fettuccine Alfredo and the sauce was delicious! The creamy sauce was not too heavy but had just the right amount of flavor. She had a heaping portion of it as well which was a deal for only $ 10 too. Only thing that irked me was that the server had forgotten to serve us bread. Now, I know we could’ve spoken up and said something about it but honestly we were full from out entrée and hate the idea of wasting food so decided we didn’t need it. Still it was the thought that counts. Service was good and food was great. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian restaurant to dine at, this place is a must try.

Since leaving Italy, we’ve been in search mode, trying to find a place that serves authentic, true-to-flavor dishes as we enjoyed in Italy. We happily stumbled upon Verducci’s when we were driving around, trying to wing it. I’ll have to say, we hit a home run! Verducci’s appears like the trendy bar in town when you drive by, simply because of the simple surroundings: a Winn Dixie, shoddy small businesses, even a cheapo pizza joint directly next door. It’s certainly not a trendy bar, but it seems to be the nicest place to eat on the block Now, when you walk in, you won’t find a well-designed hostess stand. You’ll find yourself trying to translate marching orders from Italian, as the kitchen cranks out dinner! The hostess will find you, and seat you accordingly. We admittedly got lucky on a Saturday night, we walked right in and got a table for two, while some waited over an hour for a spot. The menu is nothing short of excellent and authentic. I opted for pizza, because I needed to know if it was cooked the same way as in Italia. There’s good news and bad news about that: The good news is, it’s perfectly Italian. The bad news is, I’ll never be able to convince the fiancée to eat anywhere else again when we’re at the beach. We ordered a couple glasses of wine and a basket of bread, just because we knew that the kitchen would be backed up. We also understood that eating in a true Italian restaurant takes time, and it’s a process. We were able to reminisce a little while the employees were working their hearts out, recalling all the wonderful things we did and saw while over there. The pizza itself– ay caramba. Amazing. I had the Romana pizza, which was chicken, onions(which I’m still trying to figure out what they do to onions on Italian pizza. It’s always a unique, awesome flavor), spinach, and tomatoes. It came out with a wonderfully crisped crust, and hot! I enjoy hot things, so I also appreciated the fact that instead of a shaker, they bring you an actual bowl of red pepper flakes– you can spice your pizze as liberally as you want, with accuracy and less work. Excelent. I’d highly recommend this place. I have read the negative reviews, but hearing the complaints of other patrons while there, negative reviews are unwarranted and irrational. Your party of 6 hasn’t been seated outside, as requested, in over an hour? How dare they serve others properly and not yield to your demands! If you’re looking for quick pizza, there’s a cheap, greasy hole-in-the-wall place literally 20 feet away. Expect two things when you show up: Excellent food, and an authentic experience.

Surprisingly good Italian food at reasonable prices on the beach. The red sauce is good, which is the staple of any Italian restaurant to me. I would recommend any fish or pasta dishes or my very favorite, the eggplant parm. Good eats at the beach!

YUM! This place is truly awesome. Made a stop here on Memorial Day Weekend after a day out on the beach and this was EXACTLY what I needed. Dinner starts with a delicious bread basket of both freshly baked rolls and I believe, focaccia served with Olive Oil and red pepper tapenade(DELICIOUS) !! I had the Tagliatella Bolognese(rec. by the waitress) & it was a flavorful, heavy, meaty dish. EXACTLY what I needed! I had the opportunity to taste the Ravioli alls vodka from a friend which was very flavorful, with a bit of a spicy kick that I did not expect. Easily a top 5 Ravioli for me, and definitely what I will oder next time! Also tasted the Rigatoni alls Florentina(I know, I know girl can eat)… this was very creamy but not over done(dry/heavy). It also had the perfect amount of spinach which complimented the smooth texture of the cream sauce perfectly! NOROOMFORDESSERT, but we did get a second basket of break to wipe the plates clean for the kitchen! I’d highly rec. this place to anyone who loves sitting down for great Italian food in a causal setting!
